slagmarble
It's possible that this is an abnormally nice yasuda but I actually think this is a "Canadian" slag based off construction and colors.

I was not really sold on Akro--perhaps you could share a few images of what you describe--I look forward to seeing them. Thanks--and of course-- Marble--On!! akroorka
I see what you have cooking here and I agree--- 54 minutes ago, slagmarble said: "Canadian" slag There is limited info on what you describe as “Canadian slags”. Please feel free to inform us all (me especially). Take up a whole page if necessary—we all love to learn here. Thanks and Marble—On!!
Ric
It does look like a pinch "pontil" doesn't it. Although I thought that while those were mostly found in Canada they were not necessarily of Canadian origin.
slagmarble
Aside from a website floating around out there (cogeco.ca?) detailing pontil comparison plus whatever is still here to scrounge up Roger Browse took what he knew to the grave. The only additional thing I have to offer is that big groupings of them supposedly came out of prospecting country to the west, some in Ontario and occasionally you'll find them in the US but just in drips. The slags get overlooked compared to their two-color opaque cousins because they aren't particularly flashy.

Well--They are "flashy" enough for me my marble collecting friend. Dig some info up and get back asap. Love the insight--- Marble--On!!
