Well hello there,

I'm a new collector from the Netherlands.....well sort of. I've always loved marbles from early childhood to this day. So many fond memories associated with them. I saved all my marbles from my childhood, but I never actively collected marbles since then. I would however buy some marbles here and there...mostly on vacation in other countries...but nothing serious.

A few months ago I stumbled onto some marble videos on YouTube. That sparked my interest and after watching countless hours of these videos I started looking into collecting myself.
My favorite marbles from my childhood were these wirepulls that my mom used to play with and were handed down to me. We called them "spaghetti's". Little did I know back then that these marbles were made in the Netherlands by Veiligglas. So I started looking into them some more and focus my collection on them. But ofcourse I also like other marbles aswell.

Here's a peek at some of my collection  (all photos taken today for this post....still need to work on getting better photos so these will have to do for now)...

Marble On my friend !!!!

I was raised in a Dutch settlement here in Wisconsin.
Many of the really older folks still speak it.
The saying here was always “If you are not Dutch—you are not much”.
Times have changed—what can I say—I am mostly a mutt--lol. (When I asked about my heritage my Pa would tell me that I was part cowboy—Hee--Haw!!!)
Marble—On!!!----For sure!!
