I knew....i felt it when i saw this piece 

Just like in the german sulphide marbles , same color , material 

I thought ... this one will light up with UV and is from the same period the antique sulphide marbles are made 

So i bought it , and today very early 0830 AM the doorbell ringed and it was delivered

Grabbed my UV and BAM !!!! 

Wow !!!!! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

9.4cm, right?  

Cool piece.  How everything is attached together could lend some clues. Curious about wear on bottom of wood too. Could have been a paperweight added to the wood after the fact.

Yes 9.5 cm , copy paste that from the advertisement , did not noticed that before 🫣🫨

Not a lot of wear on the bottom , dunno how long its been attached to the wood

All my older faceted handmades glow like that (i.e. 1850-1870 or so) same w*/ the sulphides, nice mibs Brother   :thup:
