Hi

I have inherited some marbles including the prettiest and some unusual onionskins. I thought I'd share as I think I have a couple which are particularly unusual and some which are just the most beautiful works of art in my humble opinion.

Ive had to try and pick up some learning about what they are but i'm up for hearing your views and thoughts.

The first red and white one I believe is an early faceted ground pontil German onionskin cloud (17mm or less than 11/16s). I love the feathering pattern its so pretty.

The second - is a looping onionskin I believe - again early German faceted pontil - the window seems to me to be extraordinary. I have three which I wonder if they are the same cane - all are gorgeous colours. About 11/16s or 18mm)

I'd love to hear what you think folks.

They are a Newer marble--about 20 years old or newer--Bulgarian--
