disco005
That's fantastic! Is the base a little greenish?
disco005
These two are pretty neat, a very very light blue corkscrew on a very very light amber base, hard to photograph. The one on the right I've had for about a year; the one on the left I received about two weeks ago. Very similar, I love to see that.

Steph
I'll post these here too ... going through the house and finding more marbles I have no idea where I got them from. When did I start collecting Spirals? I also discovered a secret Pelt Sunset collection .... It has been a good day.

Nope, a very heavy translucent bright white, the pictures don't quite do it justice.

cheese
It does. Very nice! I love akros with transparent colored bases. Has anyone ever seen one with a purple transparent base? I have one in transit, will take pics when it gets here.
jeeperman
Yes, that is how it looks in hand too. I have to choose which to follow. lol The trans red is a really cool cherry red. Look forward to seeing the purple base Chuck.
cheese
Here it is. I've never seen one with transparent purple. Anyone else?
Steph
I think I've seen one. For some reason it doesn't seem surprising to me. Special. Yet not surprising.

Steph
That's an example of one for which I do not know the Akro company name. I have seen so much advertising for Akro ... but I don't know what those were called.
cheese
Good to know, I was a little worried when I bought it that it might be an irradiated amber snake since I haven't run across this color in Akro before. Nice examples Paul!

And how fun, sounds like I need to start stashing marbles in the house where I can rediscover them later lol
disco005
I just received this orange Spiral last week, love that Akro pumpkin. 21/32"

J_Ding
When I see think that Akro hand gathered marbles are not supposed to have long seams, I think of this one. When I think that Akro HG marbles should have a wobbly, indistinct nines, I think of this one too. These traits not always this way, apparently. An interesting, I think, early Akro. Wild caught.
