  1. David Mc supplied them with the pink champagne glass. I like it too.
  2. Please post them and comment on them, if you have them. I will say that the colors were similar to the Tributes to Dave McCullough, but the patterns are different.
  3. These marbles are JOKER Fall Harvest. They were run October 31, 2008 and the investors were Jim King, Kevin Plummer, Ed Parsons, and Rick Hall. 150,000 marbles were produced in this run.
  4. I only own 9 Marley's. These four are from my Joe Hogue experimental collectors box for 2008 Those who have them, please post them.
  5. These marbles are named Marley's. The investors were Mary Knudson, Al Sumner, and Rick See. I believe Joe Schlemmer also attended this run and helped Mary with her sales. These marbles were run Oc. 14, 2008
  6. These 7 marbles are the only examples I have of Aces. They were very scarce because of their problems. I have just enough to fill 4 slots in my Joe Hogue box of 2008 experimentals and three extra. I invite those who have them to post here.
  7. these are examples of the Aces. The investors in this run were Alan Bassinet, John Hamon Miller, Brian Merhar, Bill Tow , Jack Labbe, John Braithwaite. These folks had some trouble with their run, did not get much in the way of numbers of marbles. They were getting muddy colored marbles and David McCullough helped them out. I will leave it to the Aces to tell more about this. Only they will know the true story as they were there.
  8. blue ox and green ox - thank you Burt.
  9. Burt Wilkins sent me this box of marbles today. I could not have arrived at a better time. Just doing pics of these brightened my day.
  10. The Canadian side is beautiful. I hope to take Joseph to see it.
  11. Winnie, some of the patterns look all red, but the base glass doesn't. All reds were on opaque white glass with a colored patch at each pole, usually red at one end. i have found some with orange at one end where maybe they had run out of red and kept making them. the ones with 3 colors are definitely not all reds. Steph can tell you more about time lines for them. I've never studied that but have learned a little from Ron Shepherd and Howard Powell about the Vienna plant and the parkersburg plant. My favorites are generally the Vienna era when the best glass was used. I've also learned some time era stuff from Steph. If anybody knows, she does. I am friends with Linda Simmons, daughter of Lewis Louis Moore, who was plant manager at Vitro during the Parkersburg days and i'm hoping to learn from her some interesting things about the marbles he brought home to his kids.
  12. Your marbles are beauitiful. Weldon and I never really collected the antiques. He just had the ones his Grandfather had given him. When we passed them on to our son, we bought a few to add to them and gave all of them to our son.
  13. I know what you mean. I think I have one of everything and then something turns up that I've never seen before. Just recently I got some tigereyes in a different color combo. Maybe it's not possible to have one of everything. I started collecting with Akro Agate and I thought they had the most color combos. They are nothing compared the the numbers of Vitro Agate color combo's.
  14. Another marble from Weldon's grandfather. Weldon played with this one too.
  15. Even JABO lovers have these. I love all marbles.
  16. Also one of Weldon's grandfathers. You can see Weldon played with it'
  17. This one belonged to Weldon"s grandfather.
