    Champion?

That was my first guess aswell, with those small tips, but with all the transparancy i start to doubt. Maybe it's better to go on my first feeling.
  3. yes, thats what it looks like....
  4. I was thinking of brown/red white based swirls after i saw a post from Galen. I've only one with that color combo,it's a little less than 1 inch. I've found it in Holland about 10 years ago. A very long time i didn't know wether it was new or an Amsterdam swirl,i now tend to the latter. My question is,have American companies made swirls with those colors and if so are they unusual?
  5. Got this from America in a batch with vintagemarbles and Jabo classic's,it's 5/8. If i remember well Jabo has made a black and yellow marble?

    Champion?

It's 5/8 and found in Holland.
  7. The first marble second row on top,America has made no red/brown on white swirls? I have only one and i'm not sure if mine is old or new.
  8. The one on top right,if I could find it here,i would think it was made by Veiligglas. The blue/yellow with white base i'm not sure about, here's one to compare.
  9. Veiligglas German str/tr Veiligglas
  10. Euro sparkler Euro sparkler Vitro Veiligglas
  11. Ric,i like the last one the most,i don't think it's a good criterion for to be CAC,oh and i see the blue color is transparant, why not ask in the marble ID.'? So i looked in my photofiles. cat's eye german str/tr Vitro Veiligglas
  12. I think right is a Vitro,i believe it's called a superior or something like that.Left a Pelt Rainbo??
  13. I like it,and the bottle is cute.

Yes LIoyd,he looks like a little boy in a candy bar. Was looking at some old family photo's,came across this one, it was the music shop of the grandparants of my husband, located in the Center of Amsterdam.
  15. OK,i'm feeling better now LOL. Now I do see they also resembles a mushroom marble with an extra stripe.
  16. Oh no Bob,i think we're not on the same wavelength, although i started almost to doubt again grrrr. Indeed i've a hard time to distinguish it from Peltier, but i think it's Japanese. Here's another Japanese one from that group that resembles Peltier,it's right on bottom.

Strange to see pictures in color from 1952. Nürnberg was and maybe is the most important European town of toys. Here's a pic- of the toy fair-Messe in 1950.
  18. Steph,i like them too, although sometimes i find it difficult to distinquish them from Peltiers, but maybe that's just me. This one you can see in the middle of the group,in hand it looks almost black, when back lighted it's a transparant light blue. Maybe this hobby is too difficult for me LOL
  19. A Japanese marble group,i think some of them look a bit like Peltier Rainbo's.
  20. Thanks Ron for the detailed explanation, and good to know there were corkscrews found at Sistersville.
