  4. Well thats fine if you as a collector can tell the difference from a new Jabo or an old WV swirl, but I'll bet the salesman on a flea market or an antique store can't see in most cases if they're new Jabo's or old WV swirls,and you can blame him for it.
  5. Yes I like old marbles and I like the history of them. I didn't say this one is not good looking in fact this one looks great to me. What I meant to say after seen this marble is,if I want to buy vintage WV swirls than Ebay is the place for me and I can't anymore after seen this marble tell from pictures if they are new Jabo's or old WV swirls. If you live in America maybe you folks can tell the difference with them in hand. winnie
  6. OK I'm done,I will not buy any more vintage VW swirls out of America,no way that I can tell the difference old or new from pictures. I've seen the same thing happened with old bicuit dolls to much repro's. winnie

  10. Yes Ric,I only found 2 one seam transparant striped German machien-made marbles. Here is one,you can see the seam in the bottom picture. This one is 1 inch so is the blue and green one I 've posted earlier. winnie

  13. Indeed it's difficult to tell exactly the differences between all the sparkler types,in general the colors of Euro sparklers are a bit clearer (not always). winnie
