  1. I think it's likely Japanese too - a poorly-done creased pontil transitional, perhaps Yasuda.
  2. It's a simple Rainbo style - white ribbons with clear or colored transparent base glass. I like them - they look great in a group!
  3. Here is a a nice group of Scott's marbles that @m!b$ posted in the gallery back in 2012 . . .
  4. Type I Vitro Tiger Eye with whacky ribbons - imagine pressing the orange and yellow up toward the purple patch so you have a white patch on the bottom . . .
  5. When I was young, and often headed to the emergency room for one thing or another, my father always told me "a little pain never hurt anybody", which is mildly reassuring, but really isn't much help. You seem like a pretty tough character to me, so just hang in there man, this too shall pass. And best wishes for a quick resolution and recovery, Chad. I'll be pulling for you!
  6. Looks like CAC - American Agate colors. The other possibility might be Alley.
  7. This is an great personal collection to have and to go through. Thanks for sharing it!
  8. Vitro - the company likely would have called them Du-Lites.
  9. They sure look like big 'bos to me, Tommy!
  10. Many, but maybe not all, of them do look JABO. The OP is 3/4", how about the ones you're showing?
  11. Similar, but an Easter Egg would have pink on it, I think. And most are Type II Tiger Eye style - many with extra colors too.
  12. Some folks might call that JABO a Red Rebel - 2001, I think.
  13. I don't know if these are contenders or not . . . It's tough to photograph the clear base because of reflection from the colored glass.
  14. This one fits here . . .
  15. Wow, Jess, that's a dandy marble!
  16. It could well be a Blue Devil but I'm having a hard time deciphering this one. The best ones have plenty of that nice Vitro pinkish-lavender color on them.
  17. I'm no Vitro expert but they look like early Tri-Lites to me - nice ones too, IMO.
  18. Nice old Vitros. The left two are Tri-Lites - the first one is really nice. And regulation Shooters can't be over are 3/4" so I'd call these boulders.
  19. The JABO has a name . . . Green Eggs and Ham, I think. And I want to say 1997 but I could be wrong about that.
  20. I knew Scott for many years and I extend my most sincere condolences to those who loved him. Scott was an exceptionally skilled marble maker with a larger-than-life personality, a mischievous nature, and a reputation to match. In my experience, he was a kind and empathetic person, and I always looked forward to spending time with him when I could. No doubt, I will miss seeing him around the shows. RIP my friend.
  21. That top marble is really sweet, Gladys. If the base is opalescent (looks it to me), it is one of the coolest Vitro Opals I have ever seen!
  22. I think it is probably the same type as your avatar, and I think Art suggested that was a Vacor Zebra?
  23. Nice, Tommy. I'm digging this one - nice gold colored base!
