  1. Rainbow Red variants . . . the biggest is 15/16" (No. 5)
  2. You're all good, Chuck. I completely understand the challenge of identifying swirls, even if you have cullet in hand - sometimes, especially when you have cullet in hand! lol. And I'm sure there are still many Alleys and Ravenswoods in CAC collections - it can be exceptionally tough to change minds away from CAC. But you know me, I'd take a Ravenswood that looks like CAC over a similar CAC any day of the week!
  3. Thank you very much for responding! I had a feeling you would recognize it. I think it's an exceptional example of the marbles in row 2 of tray 2 - a real beauty. It's so cool that you captured the evolution of these marbles! Thanks Again!

    Dangerous 2

    These are very nice, Rick.
  5. Dave Becker, a stone mason by trade and a really talented polymer marble artist. As far as I know he's been crafting them for about 15 years, and he makes some real killers - some of his flames are unbelievable.

Whaaat!?!? Over 2 1/2", for real? That'd be one of the biggest Grenier's I've ever seen. It's beautiful, whatever it is!
  7. The way I see it, Fess Parker wore a head pelt. Gino Biffany and Les Jones were archetypal Pelt heads.
  8. Tigerware was made in Germany and was popular in the 16th & 17th centuries - this ain't it, but the color and pattern reminded me of it. This is more likely some kind of mochaware. It's tough to see in the pics but it looks like it was rounded on a lathe before it was decorated and glazed. This certainly isn't a one-off, and I am really surprised I haven't seen another example.
  9. Last ones for today - crystal clear transparent glass and not a mark on them.
  10. Wow, looks like someone was dribbling that one on concrete - what a warrior. It's super cool looking back-lit though!
  11. That is a really great marble, Tommy!
  12. Oh yeah, Art, that is one sweet bag! And I sure can understand why it's a favorite - it'd be my favorite too, no doubt about it.
  13. Marbles from every manufacturer can get spun and look a bit like Corkscrews, and Vitro Conquerors can have internal filaments too.
  14. People's definition of a flame may vary but most are looking for 3-5 "stacked" flame tips, at least.
  15. It looks a bit like a spun Vitro Conqueror. Is it on a clear transparent base?
  16. It may well be JABO, but it would be one of their better types so I would expect someone to recognize it. Maybe @Nantucketdink or @wvrons will have some ideas.
