  1. This one is a real weirdo. I don't think it's CAC, Pelt or Vitro. The best I can come up with is a Master error, which would be hard to find, for sure. It's a strange one, IMO.
  2. It is a hand-gathered transitional and I would think there is a melted "pontil" hiding in there somewhere, and that long line looking business is just a distraction.
  3. Kind of a tough one - I am leaning Heaton.
  4. I agree with Master too.
  5. Yes, they are from one or more JABO Contract runs.
  6. I also wonder about foreign - like Veiligglas, maybe?
  7. Early Vacor is what I would be thinking too.
  8. Some day, I will try to take individual photos of the marbles in that CODEG box, AIko. Your last comparison of the marble I got from Winnie with the one in the box is part of the reason I still think the boxed marbles are Veiligglas. πŸ™‚
  9. I don't think I have another but I'll keep a lookout for you, Chuck. You never know . . .
  10. The JABO Classic runs are not named per se, but they can often be described by the season (mostly Spring or Fall) and year of the run (1992-2008), and I think Dave McCullough named a very small number of specific types himself over the years.
  11. @chucks_mibs Here you go - a Dark Red Cloud (CA#5) next to a Red Cloud (CA#4) for comparison.
  12. Happy Birthday, Chad - I hope you have a great day!
  13. @chucks_mibs Ahh, Vegas for quite a while now, I guess it has been a while. πŸ™‚ Let me poke around and see if I can find a dark red cloud. I'd be kinda surprised if I didn't have one somewhere. And you should check out Stephen Bahr's YouTube videos on El Aguila - they made some really nice marbles.
  14. Given that this is a nice enough marble, and odd enough that you're having a time getting a handle on it, and the colors (especially that yellow in the first pic and the splotchy orange), and the fact that you are in California, I would encourage you to also think about early Vacor possibilities - El Aguila, perhaps, it sure wouldn't surprise me.
  15. It looks a bit more Akro than Master to me too. But I need to learn more about El Aguila - that wouldn't surprise me either.

    Vitro?

It looks a different for a Vitro All Red but I think that's what it is - maybe just chalk it up to the large size.
  17. It looks like a Master to me.
  18. This one looks like Ravenswood to me.

    Jabo?

    Asian - Imperial type.
  20. I want to say Vacor "Tidal Wave".

    Moonies?

It's hard to tell, but none are jumping out at me as Moonies (maybe the top one?). Moonies usually appear white in hand but they are translucent opalescent glass that sometimes has a bit of a blue cast to it. If you back-light them, they will show an orange opalescent glow. Here is a good photo of such opalescence that Melissa posted some time back. Your blue ones look like they might be Master Cloudies.
  22. Thanks @Nantucketdink ! Any idea what the 1992 pre-Classics look like? Do you know if there even are such things?
  23. I'm with Alan on this one. Not every marble is worth having. If it was mine, it would never be seen again.
