  1. The green on this one is much brighter in hand but I couldn't seem to capture it.
  2. I'm thinking a very odd Peltier MCS.
  3. These are beautiful contemporary transitional types, for sure - Really outstanding craftsmanship, and first produced in the early-mid 1990s, I think.
  4. Good deal, now I get what you're talking about. I'd be a little careful using that as a Vitro specific trait - it happens on Akro too. But if the seams on each side of the marble are perpendicular to one another, that trait is far more common on Vitros.

    Insane

I sort of get a Vitro vibe too but I am not sure how it would be classified- maybe just a patch . . . or an oddball.
  6. Are you sure all of these pics are all the same marble? In some, the base looks blue and in others it looks green- I'm confused.
  7. Just wondering, when you say "90 degree angle", do you mean that one seam is offset by 90 degrees relative to the other, like -- and |?

    WVS

It doesn't immediately strike me as Alley, or Ravenswood, and based on the color/pattern I am wondering if Heaton might be a possibility.

    Copperhead??

I think Marbelized is referring to the OP, in which case, it looks a bit Vitro but I would want to see a few more pics.
  10. The only one I have some reservation about is the last one.
  11. I agree with Roberto, Although, I don't recognize the colors on the last one as Vitro so am thinking it may be foreign too.

    Kokomo

It's a little hard to discern the base glass from your photo and it is not a Kokomo that I recognize as obvious from personal experience so I would be hesitant to call it one.
  13. Cool one, Art! What does it look like in there? lol
  14. Actually, I messed up (but now fixed) the secure link in my last post. As I suspected though, the migration is not yet complete.
  15. Here is mine . . . it's sort of a Lucite tiger eye type of material.
  16. You thank me now, but sometime soon, after the site migrates, you'll probably have to use the https://joemarbles.marbleconnection.com/ link to get there.
  17. I think that Joe's site hasn't completed migration yet. You can still get it at http://joemarbles.marbleconnection.com/ though
  18. I also like the ones Pete Caparelli had made much more recently for Land of Marbles, which is no longer active since Pete retired. I got a bunch and gave them away to the children of friends. Although, I have no clear idea about how marbles like this are produced.
  19. I do, my understanding is that many were given to Samsonite salesmen as some sort of a token of appreciation or a reminder to be kind while on duty . . . or something.
  20. First, I think ya'll need to go back to bed for another 10-14 hours - it's not Tuesday yet! But now that's out of my system, the yellow looks a bit more like a bleed out of the red/orange rather than a separate color, and I also agree that the structure looks a bit more like a typical Rainbo than an NLR.

    Flateyes?

They're kinda cool, and my first take is that they look like they are not American made, and I think they are usually referred to as "gems".
