  1. That is a very odd color combo to have green AV in it - it makes me think it might be from a JABO investor run, but . . .?
  2. That is Tiger's Eye but it's a mineral (stone) sphere, not glass, so not a Christensen Agate. The smaller poly Tom Sawyer bags contain Vitro Tiger Eye marbles. The Master marble company also made a marble called a Tiger Eye. And yes, it can all be a bit confusing. 🙂
  3. I could see Alley too, but Alley or Heaton or Champion or . . .? It's a single color WVS and it has minimal value, regardless of who made it.
  4. It could well be a Champion with more than its fair share of yellow.
  5. Yes, I see the light purple.
  6. That's right. The smaller poly bags are mostly, if not all, Tiger Eyes. But there aren't any in the mesh or older poly bags.

    .58 SWIRL

    I'm thinking JABO.
  8. I do recall that it was harder than it looked and that the trick was to really give the ball a whack. lol
  9. Looks like it might be a foreign Imperial type to me.
  10. It's a Tiger Eye and not one I would recognize as an Easter Egg but others might, I'm not sure about that.
  11. I'd guess mine and Al's are older poly-bags. They are larger and have Phantom Conquerors in them.
  12. That's a reasonable question but I don't think there is a specific answer. I personally would not use the term for anything 7/8" or smaller - more like 15/16" and up. I think "Shooter" refers to marbles that are bigger than 5/8" but no bigger than 3/4" so I'm not sure what to call marbles bigger than 3/4" but small than 15/16" - maybe just "big ones"? It's a real quandary. lol
  13. That looks like a really fun way to spend some time!
  14. Just to be sure, Boulder is not a specific Vitro name - it's a reference to the size of the marble.
  15. I think it is a mighty fine example from Dave McCullough's 1999 Classic run. It's a mimic of first run JABO Classics. Photo from Dale Simmons.
  16. Literally, "Battle GROUND". lol
  17. I just finished the Sunday crossword and a clue was "Whirling toon, familiarly" - thanks for the timely reminder! 🤣
  18. An odd Vitro Type IV Tiger Eye
  19. I think these are both Cat's Eyes, maybe foreign. The white inclusion you see is a piece of oven brick. And bananas are usually associated with the Peltier marble company, and I do not believe either of these are Peltiers.
