This modern ceramic marble is just over 1-1/2". I think Tom Thornburgh made some similar. Unfortunately, I have never actually seen one of his styled like this so I don't know for sure. Any thoughts? Any ideas about who might have a thought? @hdesousa @BobBlock @Penny Kelley Anyone have examples of Tom's ceramic marbles to show? Thanks for any help!

Just poking around in the archives and came across these No. 4 Conquerors on colored transparent glass. I've always liked that teal color . . .

Welcome to the Marble Connection! And I agree with Chad, an Akro Corkscrew - that's a nice marble to stumble on!
-
The colors look Akro to me and I'm not sure I've seen that combo on a PPP but it's a bit odd so I'm not entirely sure.

I did notice a tinge of blue but I also see a bit of blue in the glass under it and I think that's transparent so I assumed it's white on the mib.
-
It looks Master to me too.
-
It's a weak Vitro Conqueror - the colored patch barely showed up.
-
I'm leaning Akro over Vitro.

It looks like a JABO Classic from what I can see.

I'll go with Peltier - I think the HG look is just an illusion.

It's a little different but I'm leaning toward a nice Alley from St. Marys.

The newest packaging I've seen with Black Line All Reds was 1967 so probably sometime after that.

Thought it was clay, but it's a bit translucent. Ideas?

That possibility crossed my mind, and it's pretty beat up so it's kind of hard to tell for sure. But I am not seeing the cut-off I would normally associate with an MFC slag so I'll stick with Navarre for now. -
These appear to be slags (white striping glass in a transparent clear or colored base glass). They appear to be Akros, IMO. The red one is very nice - Akro called that type Cardinal Red.

I would say it is an Akro Moss Agate.

That looks like an old single-gather hand made glass marble. The little "nubbin" in the first picture looks like a melted pontil. It may be a Navarre. -
Yes, a red dyed clay, not a Bennington - nice size!

I assume you are looking for an ID since we're in the ID section? They hand made German marbles cut from a cane. The first is a divided ribbon core swirl and the second is a white latticino core swirl.

A newer MK, IMO.

1 mk and is that a bruiser on the left??

Both newer Marble Kings, IMO. -
It's in the neighborhood but you want to see pure yellow on a Superman. There are three good ones in this group of St. Mary's.
