  1. Nice Vitros - the Trilites are probably 1930s - an exact year is probably not possible to say.
  2. So the board does show local time - cool. I know your last post could not have been made at 12:36 PM your time, which is the time I see.
  3. I am on EDT at the moment so, yes, 3 hours difference. But I am interested to know what time do you see when you hover over the "9 hrs ago" tag? Not that it really matters .. . lol.
  4. I'm interested to see what time it says if you hoover over the "Posted 9 hours ago" tag on your first post - says 2:44 AM for me - I wonder if the board adjusts time to your time-zone?
  5. Hmmm . . . it looks like 2:44 AM on Tuesday to me. lol
  6. Restraint people . . . another Monday's coming!
  7. I'm thinking an oddball Alley.
  8. Hit the "Edit Profile" button upper right on your profile screen.
  9. The Google Play Store (Android) seems to have a good selection.
  10. I'm on the fence, but given the base glass, size and seams, I'm leaning more toward Akro.
  11. I have never seen them in original packaging either, and I agree, they do seem to be their own kind of animal. I've only seen them with a clear or green transparent base, but I'm thinking a trans-blue based one would be pretty cool. I'll ask you a question I have asked many others: I recall someone, somewhere, referring to a Green Sunset, but I couldn't tell you what they look like. Have you heard of such a mib? Could you describe them, or better yet, show me a pic of one?
  12. Yes, thanks for the post. I remember Deanne well and I always enjoyed running into her at shows. She was very friendly and always fun to be around - my sincerest condolences to her family and all who loved her.
  13. Thanks for the link - kinda neat. It looks like a set of tools that allows people to build their own marble run. But I would have to spend a lot more time researching to figure out how to use the tools to assemble a run myself. I wonder if you could find a stand-alone run that someone has already been built using these tools. Here is a site where you can assemble your own run using graphical tools.
  14. I have always found the naming of these to be confusing. I have seen them referred to as Vitro Exotics, Exotic Conquerors and Fancy Tiger Eyes. I think the Exotic Conqueror name for these is a little misleading, since I think they were produced later than Conquerors and I don't think they have ever been seen in Conqueror packaging. To me, Fancy Tiger Eye is the better name, since I think they have been seen in Tiger Eye packaging. Can anyone explain to me the relationship of these marbles to Conquerors and Tiger Eyes?
  15. A nice starter collection and an even better gesture - reverse score!
  16. The first might be referred to as an Exotic, otherwise, a fancy Tiger Eye. The blue based one is an Alley from St. Mary's and the third is a Peltier. Sometimes the base on those can show a little bluish cyan color (cyan + yellow = green).
  17. Maybe the seller offers combined shipping and they're getting 10 marbles for $14.25?
  18. Certainly no apology necessary, Mary, it takes a little practice. I just wanted to draw your attention to the issue.
