  1. Might be Alley, but I think it could be from more than one maker - you will probably never know for sure who made it.
  2. Cool Rainbo, Art. I've always liked the white in transparent ones - like slags with a more predictable structure. And the base on this one is great - I've seen it too, sort of a dark amber/red color. MMmmm good!
  3. I think it's probably JABO too.
  4. Marble King "Broken Corkscrew" - I have never seen another . . .
  5. Maybe because it's a Pelt? šŸ™‚ Nice lazy "S" on that seam in the 3rd pic. If it's not Pelt, I'd have to go with an even weirder Marble King. I don't see Vitro no matter how I slice it.
  6. Take a look at the second pic . . . see how that fat purple ribbon is actually two ribbons that originate on opposite sides of the seams? The bottom half of the ribbon in that view should be pulled out away from the top half and into all the wispy ones. Then it would look more like you'd expect for a 4-ribbon Rainbo - I'm sticking with Pelt.
  7. The polar patches and equatorial ribbons sorta switched places.
  8. It's an attractive color combination and pretty unique too.
  9. Crazy . . . Black Line All Reds that just couldn't get with the program. lol
  10. A total guess from me . . . torch-made macrame beads from the 1960s or 70s - Hippie stuff. šŸ™‚ They're very pretty.
  11. I gotcha, Jeff. And I agree they could all be Alox marbles - just can't get a very good look at them.
  12. The marbles look Alox, Dave, but the staples don't look flat to me. Flat staples look more like a rectangular steel "bar".
  13. Ric

    .60" Akro?

A little different, but I agree.
  14. It looks like an odd Peltier Rainbo to me. What size is it?
  15. Those are Champion NOFs from the 1980s.
  16. There's nothing like marbles in the sun!
  17. @akroorka Cool Art, I always like to see glassware and matching marbles - and that's a really great tin too!
  18. Here is some info and other examples from peltiermarbles.info . . . Superboy - Light blue base, red and yellow ribbons---usually the red lies on top of the yellow. It seems there is a lot of variation in in "Superboys" . . .
  19. A Superboy is basically a Superman without separate yellow ribbons. The red is usually found on top of the yellow in the same ribbons (looks orange), on a light blue base.
  20. I agree - probably Chinese.
  21. It sorta looks like a horizontal swirl. Are the colors right in the photos? Is the base yellow/tan?
  22. Nice example of an original Alox bag filled with Alox marbles, Jeff. Are the staples in the header the rectangular (flat) type or the round type?
