The first is a Prizename and the last is a two-color Spiral (Corkscrew). I never heard of a "Buttermilk" Akro. That name is usually associated with a particular type of Vitro.
I think RAR nailed it. And yes, I question the green one too. It looks like it has one vane that is too large and too thin for a Peltier Banana- the glass looks off to me too.
It's beautiful, Bill. I could look at that all day. I'll bet your dog loves the weather - looks like a furry beast. ๐
We're expecting our first hard freeze this weekend here in west-central Indiana, and I'm looking forward to it!
That's a good looking display, Art. And I agree with your assessment of this person's box-making skills too - a wide selection that appear to be well done for the most part.
Cool marble, it looks like a Bennington type to me. Some of them have that shiny, almost iridescent metallic-looking, glaze that is quite different than the more typical ones. At least, I think that's what I'm seeing here. ๐
If you look at the first pic you can see that the green up on the right hand side actually originates below the seam you're showing - it should be laying just to the right of that red ribbon below the seam., then you've got a pretty typical "flip-flop" pattern, even though the ribbons are wandering all over the place.
I have some huge Asian Cat's Eyes that look really similar, and I have seen similar looking and sized Cat's Eyes (Taiwan) packaged by Shackman in "Six Jumbo Kate Greenaway Marbles" boxes. They also packaged some (Japan) in "Super Deluxe Jumbo Multicolor Marbles" boxes but I think they were mostly single-color ones.
Cool marble - kind of odd. It appears to have way more than it's fair share of white, and it's hard to tell, but it does kind of look like a crude folded "pontil". How would you classify it?
