  1. Thanks for fixing that up, @Jeff54. And thanks for bringing it to our attention, @bumblebee. This is an amazing piece of glassware. I would think it has to be the earliest example of millefiori on record. It's hard to imagine that it was made so long ago. And is that some sort of metal embellishment, like a hook maybe? It's truly remarkable.
  2. Industrial media balls are made for use in grinding/polishing mills - think rock tumbler media.
  3. There are a few pics here . . .
  4. You're a lucky guy, I can't find anyone around here to play with!
  5. @Fire1981 That's a crazy double ingot, Rick - nice Heaton box too! @Chad G. Those dug ones sure look nice in a group!
  6. I've found some of my best marbles in drawers I hadn't looked in for decades. lol Great find!
  7. They're all Spirals. πŸ™‚ 1 &2 are also referred to as Prizenames. 3&4 might be called Tricolor Spirals. I don't know of any particular collector names for these types.
  8. I think the "Marine Crystals" were Peltiers. Regardless, I think that may have been a name targeting the aquarium market. I'm pretty sure they were packaged under other names too. I hadn't thought about this topic for a while. πŸ™‚ The Vitros were "Marine Gems" (not Marine Crystals) and they were targeted to the aquarium market. They also packaged clearies as "Aqua Jewels" and "Exotic Glass Gems". Ravenswood put clearies in Buddy bags. Akro packaged "Glassies".
  9. That's a great color combination . . .
  10. It has to be UV reactive and should have some AV too, I think . . . Not mine.

    Berry Pink

It's probably just me, but I would want the marble to have more "pink" than blue and have better defined and wider "stripes" - like Rick's marble without any white.

    pelt? .55

Highly unlikely in my estimation . . .

    Berry Pink

I think some people would call it a Naked Berry Pink. Myself, I have always held some reservation about these particular marbles.

    pelt? .55

It's kinda crazy but I think Pelt too.

    Cork?

It does look corky but it looks like a Heaton to me, at 1/2" though . . . ? Hmmmm.
  16. @akroorka Very unusual color combination, Art - dare I say rare? Sweet marble, for sure.
  17. I'm leaning Ravenswood over Alley.
  18. My view today - harvest time. 🚜 ❀️
  19. In the first and last photos, the one on the left is a Vitro Conqueror variant and the one on the right looks mostly like a Marble King to me but not entirely sure - it's an interesting marble. The second photo looks like a CAC or maybe Alley, another view or two might help. The third and fourth photos look like an Akro, IMO.

    Vitro?

Pretty sure those are odd Vitro Yellow Jackets on the right. Maybe a Trilite on the left.
