  1. That still sounds good to me, but I wouldn't quote me.
  2. Here's some more, please Thanks !
  3. These aren't rare, or my best, but I really like them, Early Cerise Onyx/ Cerise Agate types
  4. Here is the back of the monument/urn and a side, I think
  5. Hi Duff !!! I have difficulty posting pictures here, so I had your friend, Galen, post it.
  6. I believe the urn to be predominately 1931 marbles, but Gino does not necessarily agree with me on that. The back side of the urn has a whole lot of those solid color purple boulders, that I haven't seen anywhere else. I have some chinese checker size purple Peltiers.
  7. Sorry, mon. I was referring to the CAC exotics, not the citrus marbles.
  8. That's how I feel about the exotics that I have seen, too. They look good to me.
  9. Hi Steve, Sorry, I didn't realize that I keep alluding to the Peltier papers from the safe, I thought that was Galen. I do not have permission to post any of the paperwork here or anywhere else, but I have done so here on occasion. Yes, I've learned a lot from the papers, and Gino, and many others. The urn is covered with 3/4" to one inch marble halfs and is dated 1931, but several important marbles are not presented on it, and I would guess that the citrus marbles came after 1931. I have never seen a 3/4" one. They are a complicated marble, and I would surmise that they were made for a very short time. thank you for your concern. mike b.
  10. Monsewer, Obviously, you are wackers, or pulling our leg parts. I have no idea what you're talking about, and I probably wasn't even there when it happened, but some citrus marbles and chunky bits were found around the Peltier factory. mike b.

Hello mon. You aren't handymon from long ago, are you ?

  12. I dreamt that some killer marbles were stalking me ! mikey b.
  13. Clyde's last picture shows Sami Arim, mike barton, and Galen. Here in Sacramento, we don't see much sun in winter, just clouds, rain, grey, and fog. The job outlook here is even less cheery than that, I'm afraid. (but no snow)
  14. Oh, they work out like you wouldn't believe, Bob. I haven't found this pattern in any other color, though. mike
  15. I will Sami, they don't look at all like rainbos to me.
  16. These are some dug Peltier green slags with a nice rolled pattern and a touch of pale blue. 11/16" Here is the seam side thanks for looking. Sorry for the bad focus. mike b.
  17. You seem nice. I'd be happy to give you mine. mike
  18. I have one, too. Might just be freckles.
  19. Same here, and I was just as surprised or more, since I don't buy marbles. Good stuff, not many Peltiers, though. mike
  20. And really not the least bit ugly, neither, Duff.
  21. Yep, Steph. Mikey's right in there with the important real marble makers, but even better, the book is well written, with hecka lots of really good, clear pictures of all kinds of marbles and boxes and everything else marbles. I'm kinda hungry for an insect now, though.
  22. My copy arrived today, and I like it so much, I just might buy a few more. thank you Lloyd !
