  2. I bid on a marble of his a couple of days ago. The next morning I get notice he cancelled my bid and relisted it. Another person had the bid when I looked after the relist. I'm not sure why....
  3. Just the people selling them. LOL To me, my collection is priceless. I buy because I love them. Still most people when they spend $100 + on a little glass ball, still hope they can get most of the price back someday. My advice, is buy marbles that you enjoy. I want to be burried with mine.
  4. Ebay is currently running specials for Ebay store owners. You can list up to 1000 fixed priced auctions per day for free. So if you over price a marble it costs you nothing to list. Some sellers are just fishing....
  5. Manylittle, I do not believe anyone said you are not entitled to your opinion here. It was suggested that you spend more time here prior to suggesting a change to this forum structure.
  6. The sad part is the original marble posted sold for $7.50 + 3.75 shipping! Not bad for a $1 Vitro. Go figure!
  7. WINTER STORM WARNING!!!! Cleveland Ohio 6 TO 10" SNOW.. Tuesday Night into Weds. am. It could also track a little north and just rain... I just love Ohio!!! http://www.weather.com/weather/today/Canton+OH+USOH0156:1:US

  9. It is an antique spool thread cabinet used in stores. It is a nice one at that!
  10. Marble Grading is so subjective. It is seems impossible to get two marble collectors to agree to anything! (Myself included) Grading Guidelines written by Committee would be & is a nightmare.... We seem to be stuck with Marble Al's "creative marketing" grading system. I guess all I can do is "do my best" and offer "Hassel Free Returns".
  11. It says Wet Mint (-) (9.2) What is wrong with that?? It means a wet appearance in mint (-) condition. The description reads: Wet Mint (-) Condition with a couple fleas and some pocket wear. (9.2) Don't worry Its all good... I have a thick skin & I asked for input!
  12. Could anyone please give me some feedback on my auctions?? I am looking for thoughts on presentation, policies, photo size, photo quality ect... Also auction vs. buy it now. I would appreciate any input.
  13. The seller's feedback and attitude is enough to scare my away.

  15. I'm not sure about the real agate one, but I feel the imitation ones were probably used as some sort of game ball. Just my opion from 30+ years of selling Antiques.
