  6. I am always on the watch for things that use marbles. A fun way to kill some time. You never know what you might find.
  7. I have put together a list of the 1925 tournament participants. I have located seven of the statues and can match six to the names on the list. The seven has the name of a newspaper publisher who was a strong supporter of the marble tournament. This site had a great discussion on the subject and reading online archives of the Binghamton Press, I think I have been able to reconstruct a partial story behind the statue. For now, my curiosity was peaked about whose statue survived.

  14. Pure speculation but what about something like this agate? Not from Detroit like your pin but it has a little hole on the top where the pin would fit. The agate is less than 3/4th of an inch

  19. Example: I recently bought an item from 22BP for $650. with BP my cost was $793. Buyer after SP would have gotten about $500. 22BP made $286 on the transaction (not counting shipping and packing charges. The sad part is I had offered the seller $700 for it before he sent it to 22BP. He turned it down because 22BP promised him at $1200-1500 sale price. Seller made less money. I spent more money. 22BP got paid on both ends. Amrica. Got to love the land of opportunity and byers premiums.
