Absolutely! We all love doing this kind of stuff. Read up in the forum about the best ways to post your marbles (only 1 -4 at a time, different views, etc.) to give us the best chance to help you. Or just ask, in the ID section. Sounds like you might have some interesting ones. Welcome.

I went to Florida State in Tallahassee (twice, BA and MA), taught for a year at UNF (but was lucky enough to find a place to rent in Jacksonville Beach), and also lived in Delray and the Keys (Islamorada) for a while. I feel your pain,Jeff54 . . .

Forgot to say I like the white ones, even if they are problematic. Undoubtedly a character flaw in me . . .

Looks like a slag to me - the white ones can be difficult. All I can say is that I don`t see any obvious traits that would point to a manufacturer. Except not Pelt machine-made, and probably not CAC machine-made. It does look hand=gathered, but with the white ones it`s hard to tell.

Are they all back-lit or under UV? Need true colors (daylight) to really ID.

IDing will be easier if you post no more than three or four marbles at a time, several views of each. Then another three or four, etc. Don`t be afraid of posting a bunch of photos! We love this stuff.

Duh. Stupid caliper. Went back through and most are 5/8 with a few slightly smaller. Would love to see another size! Maybe mibcapper will stop by.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn`t! I checked my box, and the size according to Peltier is "No.0." Measuring them, however, the sizes vary slightly. Most are 1/2" but a few are 9/16." My stray Cerise is also 9/16." I made a cursory check of my marble books and all of the boxes pictured were "No. 0." I don`t know if this rules out your marble or not, because it may just be happenstance. Probably Hansel knows if there are any other sizes, or maybe if some other collector has a different-sized Cerise box and they could let us know?
