    Time to Fight

I`m so happy for you William!
  2. The micas and the gooseberry got my attention . . . fantastic.
  3. Unbelievable. A lifetime find for sure!
  4. You could do that! You should do that! A marble show is a great experience. Especially if you stay at the hotel a couple of nights for the in-room trading, and hanging around with other marble collectors.
  5. Contemporary air-trap marble. Fair number of contemporary artists make them.
  6. Puff is always there.
  7. Oh, there`s hope! Studying marbles seems to be a lifelong thing. Been at it for years now and still have huge gaps I`ll never fill. So I just concentrate on areas I really, really like - old Germans, slags, transitionals, Pelts, Alleys, some Akro, cat`s-eyes. And buying the stray pretty one regardless of who made it. Buckle up!
  8. Maybe a tap, not a slap - looks more brown than red on my monitor. But that may be just me.

    Old marbles?

There are some HTF marbles from Czechoslovakia that are similar to the OP, but I`ve never had one in hand. So I`ll just throw those into the mix as a remote possibility, too.
  10. No. Not every swirl has a name. Most don`t.
  11. Very light white is usually Akro.

    Agree with Al.
  13. In my experience, most old Alleys (but maybe not every single one) that have aventurine are with blue, green, or both. The orange sent up a red flag for me. Of course, Ron probably has one!

Not CAC. Too much blending of colors.
  15. Looks more-or-less like a nicer Imperial -
  16. Vitro helmets generally have a transparent "face" and a stripe down the middle of the helmet, often red, but can be other colors too.
  17. The first three stone ones are probably flint. The last one is a German Bennington.
  18. Even I thought Master tiger eye, and my mind usually remains blank when I see something that might be a Master`s . . . .

No. They`re German Chinas. A good mix from the later period of Chinas. Lined Chinas, crosshatch, and bull`s eye.
  20. I`ll feel like a fool if this is wrong. But if I`m right, somebody will have to take my blurry . . . Bifurcated.
