  4. has anyone else ever opened these and found another marble inside? got one that was open! had a vitro hybrid cateye in it. it was obvuoisly made this way too. it weighs the same as those we have never opened.

  10. well i did look at that one, but it just didn't register as one. it doesn't look like the ones i have seen. but we all know how difficult pictures can be! especially with clear base marbles sometimes! sorry, i missed that!

  12. nice razor!!! killer, and in the one picture it is pretty easy to see the tell-tale faceted ground pontil. quality mib for sure!!
  13. ground pontil~ gaps common on those. never paid it any mind personally. but i like the term window pontil .lol
  14. i like the brown traveler. And the center one... a pine needle wasn't it? the one next to the chocolate cow...is there a surfer in there? I can't tell if the base is clear or not... hmmm... like the blue bee too. nice

  16. WHERE'S THE SEAM? LOL fake ones have been around since the 1980's and 90's. they 'seam' to be getting better tho.

No one, and I repeat No one knows everything about marbles. even Alan once sold an imperial as a rare master. man did we giggle over that one. ok back to work I go Hi-ho, Hi-Ho. can't wait to see everyone in Seattle! only a couple of weeks! yahoo! to 'peaches'... wish ya could make it... maybe next year!
  18. For those that have spent time at the west coast shows over the last 20 years, you probably met them.. Phil and Tati Anderson of Jacksonville, Oregon. both passed away within weeks of each other. such a wonderful couple. they will be deeply missed out here.. :-( they loved the hobby as much as anyone could. and loved to come to the shows !
  19. i have seen them bigger than 5/8", sold some too.lol but he's a knowledgeable collector. I don't see him selling a repro.
  20. If you're thinking about it, just do it! there are only a few rooms left!!
