Is it not a shooter Cosmic Rainbow?

Pelt Rainbo. Attractive colors and pattern for a Rainbo. -
Other than red, I imagine Vaseline glass would appeal to certain collectors. Deep purple/black or shrunken cores cased in clear also.

Veiligglas VS Hopf - information about Wirepulls
I'llhavethat1 replied to TheVacorFan's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
My contribution for comparison sake. Of note: plastic round board instead of wooden. As far as where the marbles were made? Hard to say. Much like swirls and catseyes were made in the USA by multiple companies, it's entirely possible there was more than one Euro manufacturer cranking out (somewhat generic) wirepulls as well. -
What's the size by the way? Looks like it's bigger, probably over an inch but less than 1-1/4" is my guess.

That blue slag has a tight '9', nice example. I'm thinking MFC

Is it not a folded up Pelt Rainbo. -
out of all of them? Maybe the white and green one.

This came to mind when I saw the OP But some important questions about the OP marble, did I miss the size? And it does kinda look like Oxblood?

The top middle I consider to be 'Imperial'. They all have varying degrees of translucency. Or maybe now I'm confusing Imperial with Ringer. arg.

^agree. And in this thread I learned about the newer look-alikes.

I'm terrible with these but Carnelian was the first name that came to me (now I need to go search).

It's authentic, not contemporary. Leroy did some work on it (I know, I know) but it is an eye-catcher for sure.

Nice example. A little sparse on the green compared to most

? OP marble looks like a Rainbo to me

Alley was my first thought, but not as familiar with these swirls. Foreign was my second thought. I pictured Ravenswood as having orange ribbons diving deeper and a lighter blue. But I don't know what would make it "premium" *shrug*

^getting closer, but to me the best examples are in the salesman sample case Ron posted a while back

Based on construction, size, and orange peel surface texture I'd consider European sparkler. With a couple less colors than normal.

Wow, nice marble. I had one similar as a kid with a bit more white and black streaks. Only other time I saw one similar was quite a few years ago in a collection with a bunch of other smaller Masters.
