That is a nice old marble. The condition reduces the monetary value significantly. It still manages to be pretty in spite of the chips so that's good. I'm gonna guess only a few dollars for it. However, I am not familiar with the market for this old German handmades.

JoAnne, we all were having problem with the logging out thing, but a glitch got fixed and the advice was to reload lingering problem pages. Don't know how I missed that bit of information all these years. Cricket is such a famous sport ... and yet I didn't even know that. My brother's family moved to England last year, which is why I know now.

My turn. Three modern multi-color Marble Kings. Two are 5/8" and M- at least. The big one is 1" and NM+. Looks good -- but closer inspection found moons/sparkles. [Edit: subsurface moons/sparkles] The smaller ones are the classic, red, blue, yellow, green combo. The larger has lavender instead of blue, which was hard to photograph. Colors are more muted in hand than they came out in the pictures (for anyone not familiar with this marble style already and not knowing what to expect in hand). Same deal as Bud posted. I'll pay shipping. High bid at noon central time on Tuesday the 14th wins.
