Moar eyelashes everbuddy!
Sorry, I don't know if I have any at all. I mean, I must, right? But I can't remember for sure ever looking for 'em. Will have to do that. Meanwhile, here's an Imperial from FredT, just for fun.
You could post some mibs in the ID forum. Big group shots are okay to give us an overview of what you have and maybe we could give you an idea of what decades they are from.
To get specific ID's you have your best chance with four marbles or fewer per thread.
http://www.joemarbles.com is a good site for seeing a big variety of marbles from different companies.
Chips are good.
It's nice to be able to study the insides of the marbles.
We've had threads on marble innards before. If I can find the most comprehensive one, I'll check to see if it has guineas and then maybe bump it.
I do NOT have any with black. Unless they're hiding in some unsorted group. And I'm pretty sure they aren't.
I think that's why my brain has never clicked on Pistachios. I was wanting my non-blacks to count ... and my greens are probably the wrong shade anyway ... so on one level I knew they weren't Pistachios but my brain has been in a constant state of denial over them for years.
I've never learned. I've asked but never felt I had a clear picture. Wondered for years.
That1's "wanted" thread (here) made me wonder all over.
What green is the officially right green for a Pistachio?
What color(s) of ribbons are the officially right ribbons?
I don't know if I have any true Pistachios. I have some I call Pistachios but I suspect the green is probably too pale.
Oh. Doh. Was it Humpty who was pushed?
I thought we were supposed to guess who Humpty just pushed.
He looks like someone who is up for a little mayhem, doncha think?
Hehe, I kinda sorta vaguely remember her not quite cutting it in My Three Sons either (though she had a three year run).
I was old enough to appreciate the awkwardness of little kids brought onto a show when the regulars got too old to be cute.
But she's three months younger than I am, so she was just my speed.
She and Jodie Foster and Pamelyn Ferdin and Kim Richards and whoever it was who played Tabitha ... oh yeah Erin Murphy ... I was their demographic.
"brin" and "panache"
Those are parts of fans. The brin is one of the radiating inner sticks of a paper folding fan. Still having a bit of trouble picturing which part of the fan is the "panache".
