  1. Hmmmm ..... Are bigger pix possible? And does it have a second cutline? What does that look like?
  2. Tangential thought .... When I was trying to understand how we moved from such names as "glass figured marbles" to calling those marbles "sulphides", I got some clues by asking paperweight collectors. I think the evolution of the name happened in their realm, and then we picked it up.
  3. Another new one on me. This thread is very educational.
  4. 1972? Interesting. Wasn't aware such existed then.
  5. Do we want to keep going? If so, I pick white for the New Year. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
  6. Veterans Run, 11/12/2015 Switched to the black background to get these to make my camera show off the colors better. Really worked.
  7. A little more Christmas before we have to move on to the new year D.A.S. Christmas Run, 11/25/ 2015
  8. Please share your jewelry. These are new from D.A.S. I do love marble mail.
  9. Not disappointed at all. We still had green grass on Christmas day ... that was just wrong, wrong wrong.
  10. P.s., if you watch that link, you can also enjoy a Jamie Farr performance.
  11. Checked IMDB. That was 1966. She also appeared as two different girls in 1964. Sherry and Ina. LOL .... Rob definitely had a type.
  12. Woot woot! Snow banks! Glad I got out and did some shoveling last not ... bum elbow and all ...... because A. it was fun and B. what I tried to keep up with last night helped me appreciate even more that I didn't have to do the rest of it this morning. Would have taken me an hour to dig out the drive alone from where the snowplows cleared the road. And then I'd still have had the walkway. But the neighbor's fulltime handiman came over and did our walk and drive. Whew. Awesome snowbanks.

    C A Cs, Anyone?

I do want to see some of the "plain" ones. There was one combo in Ron's Albright box which I didn't remember ever seeing before and that got me wondering about if there were any more surprises in the more ordinary looking ones. That's one thing those game boxes -- like the Kangaroo solitaire game -- are good for. To show the plainer looking ones which I find charming. (I also want to learn to play the solitaire game one day, but that's a different matter. Heh.)
  14. Finally snow! The grass is about 90% covered right now .... but they're using the b-word .... so maybe maybe ..... maybe we can get enough to shovel and have a few drifts to spare. *fingers crossed*
