  1. Here are the photos which prompted my question. Trying to help someone sort out his banana-types. The black in this case turns out to be purple-tinged.
  2. Bump with some Japanese boulders and a mental note to post some Vacor Flamas.
  3. I think I have some foreign ones. So I know not _all_ would be Master. So of course my question is specially about the American-made ones. Which I like to think I can identify by the color of the base glass.
  4. Did Peltier make black ones? Or are we probably looking at Master for a black banana?
  5. Gosh those contract runs could be nice.
  6. From David Chamberlain's Bogard Cats article:
  7. Thanks Ric. I realized I was asking a lot! They are Alley?
  8. Oh my goodness golly! That says California and last I heard Tom was in the Midwest.
  9. I would put all except the middle one in with my Vitro All-Reds. (Not saying that they're Vitro -- only that I have never been sure enough to try to sort them). I'd put the middle in with MK. I believe I see the pattern distinction that sclsu is making and maybe there is grounds for that. Those that he has marked with an M could surely fit in a Marble King bag. However, I would like to see several photos of Vitro bags before I would say they could not also fit in a Vitro bag. My MK bag: Side one being the Ebay photo, and side two being a scan I made
  10. How fun. For a teeny tiny moment when I saw your headline I permitted myself to hope that we had a current navy marble team. But then I realized it was probably an older Tinsley Green story ... and that was cool too.
  11. Thanks for the clear description. Staying tuned ....
  12. With that translucence and bubbliness, could be Heaton or Bogard. But I'm not ruling out Marble King. Any idea of age? If it's from before the 90's, I think Heaton or Bogard. LOL ... not much help. But we can settle on it being American!
  13. I have an Akro poster yet to take a pic of. That might be my last one. I don't have a Vitro so I was really glad to see yours. Know about any others?

    Master?

These are smaller than yours but that's the right style:

    Master?

From what I can see of the cutlines, I think you have a good bet with Master. 3/4" is getting big, but they made them that big, right?

    This Slag

That's a nice nine! Wish I recognized slag shades. I'll root for CAC for you. (Ruling out MFC because they had such a limited palette and I think that wasn't in it.)
  17. That's my impression. That whether we're talking about slags or corkscrews, the reds could go in either box depending on whether Akro wanted solid red or an assortment.
  18. I would call it an Akro Onyx. While acknowledging that it could have been sold in Cardinal Red boxes.
