  1. Personally not sure of Vitro here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171833322493 Don't see Akro Blueblood here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171833304193, and not sure about Akro. This is a Peltier Rainbo. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171833348236 Not what is generally labeled "Multicolor". Multicolor is a name for a certain type, so it's confusing to use it as a description even if the description is accurate. This lot has one blackie. The marble with red on both ends. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171833340889 Since Blackie is actually a Vitro name, Blackline All Reds aren't usually called Blackies as far as I know. You asked for comments! I hope I didn't go overboard.

  3. Nice use of busted marbles .... I guess they were busted?
  4. We have photos of two of our cats who have passed. And a refrigerator magnet poem dedicated to one.
  5. Yep, gotta be what folks call an Ace now. Nice! Gotta remember cornflower blue.
  6. Burt, is the teal on your opaque or transparent? I've been picturing it as transparent. If it's solid like Terry's looks then I gotta erase most of what I said above.
  7. I don't think of onyx white as typically being wispy. I suppose it could be though. Here's a box of onyx marbles (with a line of spirals on the left). https://www.pinterest.com/pin/367113807096627526/
  8. What's the strangest thing you have on your refrigerator? We have a few candidates. I'm going with the Mamma Mia! The Movie magnet.

    Cilantro

I never understood why spinach was used as an example of a horrible thing you force children to eat. I've been a spinach fiend since my Gerber days.
  10. Mebbe they're following the sun but don't take the same path everyday.
  11. This is one of those which puzzles me. I don't see it as being part of a Tri-Onyx Agate run (i.e., not an intentional Popeye). But what _would_ Akro have called it? I don't have a clue.

    Whajuthink?

Green brick! is what I want it to be.
  13. Akro sold both patches and swirly/corky marbles under the Moss Agate name. What Akro called Aces is different from what most collectors call Aces. And this does look like what people would call an Ace.
  14. Looks like one which I would call a Moss Agate. But I'm going to guess that your fellow Akro collectors will agree upon calling it an Ace. If it has fire inside then maybe it's a true Akro company Ace, but that's a strange color for a true Ace. Odd. But nice odd.
  15. What exact shades are we looking at? I'm seeing slight purple coming through the base ... with aqua ribbons?
  16. I completely forgot my sparklers. Doh. So how much might these squishy ones be worth?
  17. Nice story. Thanks! I'll be listing his marbles later this week.

    Cilantro

Cilantro is heavenly for me. And I used to skip school to go buy apples. Crunching into an apple is one of my favoritest things to do -- I don't do it often enough. .... so I guess I must not have that particular gene.
  19. I'd say mostly/only a thing with hand gathered. Not sure there's been enough attention paid to it on corks for the feature to get a name. But maybe someone who's not blanking on it can come up with a name off the tip of their tongue.
