  1. I couldn't place the teal and purple, but now that you say Akro, I'm smacking my forehead. Of course.
  2. Is there any way to know whether it's more likely to be Akro or MFC?
  3. We need a picture of his face ... you know ... to go with the outline of him and workshop.
  4. Thank you for letting us know. Sorry for your loss. Sounds like you will have many wonderful memories.
  5. I have a brick. I'm happy with my brick. Not in the best shape, but that's okay, coz now I can hold him and not worry about messing him up. I have a brick! Woohoo!
  6. The one on the right looks like a Paul Bunyan. Likely made by Master, last I heard. On the left? Marble King?

    Food

My husband has been watching those cooking shows and he wouldn't eat any of the food even if we did have it in the house. But he regularly watches people cooking up their vegetables and stirring their sauces and chopping their fresh herbs .... it's very strange.
  8. For what it's worth, I'm inclined to think Akro on those. There's a sheen on them in the photos which gives them a slightly foreign look. But I noticed something similar on some of your American-made cat's eye photos. Translating that to this makes me think American here also, and that leads me to Akro. P.s., that's a really cool effect with the camera -- just not something I see often and I've wondered before how you got it.
  9. I'll guess Champion on the red/white/blue. I wondered if it could possibly be newer than Champion but in those two views I don't see the patterns of a newer marble, so I'll go with Champion.
  10. Maybe Jackson on the black? http://marbleconnection.com/topic/7299-black-white-swirls/ Maybe?
  11. Here are some Alleys: http://joemarbles.com/1Marble%20Picture%20Pages/02Alley%20Agate/001%20Alley/Alley%20Agate%201.htm
  12. I'll go with WV Swirl. They look like Alleys. Edit: Yes, what Galen said.
  13. Yes, I bet that's cute in person.
  14. Tournament? What are the stakes? Clean 'em out!
  15. Beautiful. It's still pretty cool here so far, and we keep a fan going for the little one. (Expecting a high of 60 today.)
  16. That's something for us to consider. Most addresses are turned into links automatically. Supposedly when you paste the website address into your post, it turns into a link automatically when you submit the post. The address needs to start with http though, not www. There is a button in the panel at the top of the reply window which can add the http part if your address doesn't come with it already. When I look at the ebay page, I don't see an http. But when I copy the address from there and paste it here, the http magically appears at the beginning for me. Do you do that? Copy the address from your ebay auction and then paste it here? And then does it not turn into a link automatically when you submit the post? Experiment here and let me know.
