  1. Hi Jesse. Photographing transparent marbles can be really hard. Not bad at all. My first thought was Peltier Rainbo. But then I thought Vitro. Maybe a Vitro Cosmic Rainbo. And that is what I am leaning toward now. For purposes of art, angles are nice. For purposes of ID, I prefer to see seams straight on. Helps me orient myself on the marble.
  2. For yours, the left is MK and I think the right is actually Peltier.
  3. I'm ready. But you have to knock loud or use your cell. The doorbell doesn't work.
  4. Might be an interesting time to compare CAC's transparent swirls to their slags.
  5. Post some marbles which look like they could be made by more than one company. A couple of Peltish Marble Kings: My single-seam bumble bee: Rainbo-y translucent one from early 2000's (I think)
  6. My guess might have been that it was heat-damaged but that one band being clear is puzzling for sure.
  7. Remind you? I sure don't remember. Are they Marble Kings?
  8. First guess Master, by the numbers. Second guess Kokomo, by the looks.
  9. How they're made sounds the same. How they look is different. That's all I got. (This is my way of thanking you for the thread and bumping even though I got nuthin.)
  10. Why do I suddenly feel like singing Sitting on the Dock of the Bay?
  11. Nice catch, Ann. So then would it be in the Vitro Opal family?
  12. lol ... I passed on that video yesterday on facebook. Thank you for making me watch it. That was great.
  13. Hi Scott! Will be thinking of you. Hope you are feeling better soon. Thank you, Mike.
  14. They're happening more now, right? Intentionally, yes?
  15. Would be fun for people to pose marbles from different makers in a way which shows of the ends of the streams. "Were their mechanisms designed to keep shear marks as non-visible as possible?" I'm going to guess that this wasn't a point of concern.
