  1. I can't be sure -- swiss cheese memory -- but I don't remember seeing any indication that this seamed marble style came from the Veiligglas factory.
  2. Not quite sure what to make of the rest. Are they swirls or are they more like really wiggly Peltiers, for instance? Need to let this simmer a bit.
  3. No slags. The top comes closest. Could be called a slag, except that we call it a transitional. Yes, it is handgathered. A Japanese transitional.
  4. Chad, the white tunnel near the seam is what made me think that one photo would quickly give it away.
  5. Your turn, Chuck! It's one of my very best marbles. I'm guessing that Winnie sent it. Do you remember it? Art was getting warm ....
  6. If we were playing "hot" or "cold", there would have been one "warm" in the answers giving so far.
  7. Does the green fluoresce under blacklight?
  8. I mean, there are greenish-based Alleys, one of the most famous being the Pistachio.
  9. Hmmmm ... with the greenish base, I guess it could still be Alley ....
  10. ... funny what seems "obvious" when you already know the answer ... But maybe not so obvious when you don't know the answer yet.
  11. This was my original second view which I almost posted, but I decided it might give too much away. Does it?
  12. Not certain, but I think it's a good chance. How is it possible that I could not know? Partly because it's under the surface. Partly because this marble style is not one I'm terribly familiar with. (<-- that is another clue )
  13. Ooops! 29/32". I said "big one" but typed 21/32". Have now corrected it in my original post. Over 7/8".
  14. I think I picked a good one. Plus, it's a great marble in its own right, if that's a clue. I have to go to work soon, so don't think I'm ignoring or rejecting any answers. I should be back in 5 or 6 hours.
  15. Okay, I gave it my worst shot! Another big one. 29/32"
  16. Ha! This is harder than it should sound. I should be able to easily make a blurred photo, shouldn't I. But heading to work now, so if could be a bit. If someone else wants to play in the meantime, I won't cry. But I'll be thinking at work about which marble I might stump y'all with.
