Looking at some of the early posts in this thread, I see some broken links and/or missing pictures. I don't know how well I will be able to straighten them all out.
In the meantime, here is the specific photo I was looking for while reading those posts - a box of Master brand Uniques posted by Ron (Ron from Georgia).
Here's one which is sorta of interesting. I don't know whose picture this is. At first I thought the packaging was an error. I thought perhaps Cloudys were put in a Meteor box.
However, Master advertised Meteors as translucent marbles. They said Meteors included "Green Moss Agates". The packaging is looking better and better.

Neat one Jeff! Oh and everyone ! yup, this is one of those times where it's better not to name names!
While I'm in the neighborhood hunting for ID's . . .
red in Explorer 7
yup, black in Firefox but I only use that for special things coz it seems slower navigating. Or at least it used to. Explorer has been slow lately. Maybe I'll give Firefox another try.
It's a relief to hear I'm not the only person seeing weird stuff on the internets lately. Sometimes I seem to get unlimited voting. Sometimes it doesn't seem to register.
I got some other weird things at other sites too. Thought my computer might be on its way to meltdown.
I think that's the general topic in this pinned thread: "cooking", Restorers who "Cook" / Reheat.
It hasn't been an easy question to get answered. You might have the best shot at it by posting it in the main forum so more people will see it. That was sort of the plan from the beginning for this forum. Questions could be asked in the main forum and then they could be moved here when they had run their course over there.
I'm having a similar problem with the new content button. I didn't notice it at first because it gave me a couple of new threads. Later I realized it didn't give me all the threads which had been responded to since my last log in.
Thanks Steve. I was thinking of the Joker II run. But I'm pretty sure it's not a Jabo in any case. It came in a group of interesting older marbles.
P.s., Thanks Mike. I think that's what happened in the Joker II run also. It "went black".
Heres a pic:
The aventurine ribbon is backwards s-shaped, and keeps on one side of the marble. There is a sort of ribbon of clear glass which meets up with either end of the aventurine ribbon. Not any really obvious seams but I'm still seeing it closer to a patch and/or ribbon type of marble than to a swirl, say.
Nice new banner.
I like the gallery pix across the top of the home page. Cool to see mibs first thing, and more people will be aware of the gallery now.
Looks like there is an option to embed videos now. It didn't work for me when I tried it, but my computer might be blocking the image. I've had problems viewing videos on other sites also.
These are from a Master box which sold on ebay awhile ago. What do you call this style of marble?
Patch, Sunburst, later Sunburst, something else, or nothing except "Master"?
Thanks.
What do collectors call the style in the preceding post?
Patch? Sunburst? Later Sunburst? something else? Nothing other than "Master"?
(p.s. I asked in another thread. Answer is sunbursts.)

Anyone have any keepers? I have some from old newspapers but not a lot of standouts.
