I was thinkin' this was pink!!! (It's still packed away while the living room is being painted...) When I went to add the picture to the pink thread...... Oooooops!!!! Soooooo, Here's another GREAT purple!!!!

Taking both Galen's point and Lou's.... Could it be, red was worth the gold value, where pink probably wasn't as popular?? It seems there's a lot more pink in antique handmades, than in machine mades.... Again, a picture of a picture of my most coveted marble..... Contemporaries also have a good amount of pink... I was looking for a picture of an Eddie Seese, only to discover it's purple, not pink... So, I'll add that to the purple thread.... Instead, I found a picture of my son's Bill Murray "Test Marble" of the Monkey Man in Shades.... (Kinda looks purple, but I'm pretty sure it's pink...)

Yeah, Bill's marbles are "out there." He made a lot.... They come up on ebay once in a while....

Hi Felicia, no the border is wall paper. Yes, I do plan to make the curtains... I have the fabric (That's a start!!!) LOL Alan, those Micas are AWESOME!! If I ever knew Bill made them, I must have forgotten... He always had such cool stuff, it's was tough to pick just one or two (usually all I could afford, even though Bill was quite reasonable) So, I'd have likely gone for a swirl, rather than those.... Now, I regret..... LOL Felicia, Bill isn't making marbles any more.... :Sad_headshake_tweetz: Hopefully, someday, we'll get him back.... I bet there are others who are making marbles with mica... Frances Coupal was doing it for a while ('Not sure if he still is....)

For Felicia.... My office..... It's taken about 3 years to get the boarder up.... Maybe someday, I'll have curtains!!! (Don't hold your breath!!)
