  1. Wow Rich that is amazing! It's nice to have a hobby that you're dedicated to.
  2. At least it doesn't resemble a kneepad! lol Hey, I've got one for ya. Look at the first picture of my box. (I'll show it again below) I see dots and squares (outlined) where it looks like there were always marbles in the center area. Is it possible that these boxes didn't even come with a bag? Or is it likely that the extra mibs that came along, over time, went into the box after the bag was lost? And if so, why all exactly the same size? Looks like it would hold 48 more marbles. Boy wouldn't that be something! You can see the same thing in the left side area where the two marbles are missing.
  3. Very funny Herr Doktor, but I'm seriously looking for an original bag to complete the box. Then again, maybe you could talk her down to $5.
  4. That is funny! Of course it is! Do you think the bag is square to fit the holder?
  5. We wish you a speedy recovery and we are are praying for everyone.
  6. Yes it might be one of those in hand id's. Then again, I don't have the best photography skills to make this mib come to life.
  7. Not sure which is the right bag for it, but it does need the bag. Got one? I am in total agreement with being at the right place at the right time, Rich. (And throw in a little luck of the Irish!)
  8. This Peltier orange/red Zebra? is 7/8 thought you might enjoy.
  9. Fresh out of a La Grange, Texas estate sale. I back filled 25% of the Moss Agates including four of the shooters. I haven't had time to clean all the marbles but I plan to. All the marbles glow, some a lot more than the others.
  10. Wow I missed it too! Here's hoping you had a wonderful Birthday Lou!
  11. Are all worth their weight in gold? Absolutely not, but some of those are for sure! Very nice NLR's IMO. The GR has a hit/blemish so I'll bet it won't get a bid. The Bronze Zebra is tempting but I'd need to see it in hand before handing over $700. The finest examples of any collectible, in my experience, do not suffer the usual consequences of a recession. The seller will do well with these examples. One need only look at the Christie's Hong Kong Jadeite auctions last year and this year to see what I am talking about. Millions were paid for a single green bauble. One strand of beads alone fetched over 15 Million! Got any Imperial Jadeite to sell? Don't lose your marbles. Some of the marbles already have a bid.
  12. Happy Birthday Steve!!! You big Ko-Ko-Nut!!
  13. I think an annealing fracture or a large cold roll or large air-pops which are usually considered factory flaws should also knock most mibs out of the mint range when they appear too obvious.
  14. We are very sorry to hear the sad news. Our prayers go out to her family and friends.
  15. I thought they were selling a 'Blizzard' which should be uniformly spread throughout, right?
  16. Perhaps the seller would be more forthcoming if you asked them. I don't have the mib in hand to go any further.
  17. So maybe that is a good pic after all and it has a lot of surface/pocket wear.
  18. Colors look right but the pic is crappy to say the least. You'd think it would come with a lot of pics including pontil pics. This is an current auction so I can't say much.
  19. No, not really, it was meant as a compliment. You've turned those bad boys into the baddest boys!
  20. I think I see some CAC's in there! Very nice indeed.
