  1. The y look like 3/4" JABOs to me.
  2. The difference between .7 and .75 opens up so many more possibilities. Champion and Vitro Anacortes have a few 3/4" marbles but JABO and D.A.S. have a lot of shooter sized marbles out there in the world. I don't find WV swirl shooters made by other American companies beyond Alley and those mentionned. I know they are out there, but I never find them (that I can think of).
  3. Some of the black 4 vane Bogards can look like bananas too. I think I might have some foreign ones too, but not so sure without refreshing myself
  4. There are both JABOs and even Sammy's Mountain Marbles that are like that marble too just so you all know...
  5. Also a chance its a sweet Vacor Dragonfly... Vorkscrew
  6. Is it a peewee or 5/8"?
  7. Most likely JABO from post Dave tankwash. The cobalt based ones were in 2012 I believe, but there might have been some in 2013 or 2014 too.
  8. Something along the lines of a Premium Run or Ultra Run most likely, but there are a couple of other runs beyond those two that have similar marbles also.
  9. That second photo looks just like one especially and yet it looks like something entirely different in the other 2 photos..
  10. I believe it might be a Jackson, but I don't think I own one of these. I think I remember learning about this marble elsewhere in the past. JABO has a very similar marble with the red and a touch of white but it isn't UV reactive and the pattern is not JABO.
  11. You could always just put them in a giant jar on the shelf to admire them until you have the urge to sort them by company. The second collectables are stashed away and not displayed the hobby starts to become unhealthy.
  12. If you spread them all out in a single layer and take some more photos there are plenty of folks who would be happy to help you pick out special marbles for whatever reasons (like pulling out the JABOs for example) hint hint hint
  13. I chose to try to learn them the other way around. I bought large groups of correctly attributed marbles by as many different companies as I could find and studied them hands on. The two books mentioned already are also the best 2 I own for this purpose, but my Grist book has the totally wrong photos for a couple of companies which drives me mad. Popular American Marbles is worth its weight in gold no matter what some others might say about the quality of the photos.
  14. Sort them into different companies to the best of your abilities.
  15. Anything with swirls at all beyond the couple of patriot colors special runs would be great. I know there are some very simple light swirls by Mid Atlantic. The two special runs are always in demand too of course.
  16. x3...I learned it wrong and can't stop saying it the wrong way. Jabbo-Veetro
