  1. Copy and paste never seems to work for me on this site. Google marble sizes
  2. 13/16" is a #3 on the Akro size scale. 00-6.
  3. I found a scale online that goes from "itty bitty" to "whopper." 13/16" fell in the whopper range. Never heard of these. I like "weewee" for 3/8" and smaller peewees
  4. I use "jumbo" to mean 1 1/16"-1 3/8" range marbles. Vacor/Mega marbles has their own fairly comprehensive list of sizes. Akro set the standard sizes back in the day and I guess Vacor sets the standard sizes today.
  5. JABO Odyssey or Black Odyssey actually I think
  6. I believe the right marble is most likely a JABO
  7. 2003 JABO in between a JABO Sweet Pea and a Black Eyed Pea but I guess a Black Eyed Pea really
  8. Steph-you answered the ID without IDing it. I don't have this exact marble, but it must be a Champion.
  9. My pictures suck as usual, but I sure do wish there were a lot more Vitro cats out there with this unusual structure. The colors in my three include dark to very light lavender if not white in there too. Found them easier than I thought. This particular envelope did not include the date but these were documented as made in Parkersburg on the envelope. All the other envelopes had mid to late 80s dates with Parkersburg that were scored together with these. These were just one of the many many many great items that were sold off out of JABO after Dave left. Documented Cosmic Rainbows were in this group too
  10. Mine are different I believe. It is hard to recognize your's as Vitros in the photos. I will try to dig them out and photograph. Mine were made mid or late 80s (the exact year is documented with them). I will photograph them once I put my hands on them.
  11. Please put up a photo. I have a few Parkersburg lavender or purple cats that are fantastic that I found together with documentation about them, but have not seen any others before and imagine your's might be the same ones.
  12. A few 2007 JK oxbloods slipped into a few of the listings. Know your JABOs.
  13. I think some of the new Bulgarian marbles are starting to look pretty cool. Do they actually sell for more money because of the bogus back story? Wouldn't they sell even better attributed correctly?
  14. ...if you have almost lost your home because you spent the mortgage payment on marbles that you had to have (on more than 3 separate occasions). ...if the majority of your spousal fights are about how you store your marbles throughout the house. ...you have ever stolen a marble. ...you have ever sold off other items to support your purchasing of more marbles. ...you want to beat up people who disrespect the type of marbles you collect. ...you feel like you are cheating on your marbles when you spend time doing other hobbies.
  15. Duh. I can't read obviously. nevermind
  16. Akro or Vacor T-Rex or JABO or something else I am not familiar with on the last one?
  17. What do you two believe the last one is?
  18. I believe Bogard bags can be found with MK shooter cats in them too. I do not believe Bogard made shooter swirls or patches or whatever those are, but they very well probably packaged them. Bogard definitely packaged some marbles from other makers under their own labels, I just don't believe they mixed their own marbles and other makers together in the same bags with Bogard headers.
  19. I think I just borrowed these from Alan's site but they came up on image searches
  20. You know, the Big Shot Heaton cats eye bags. They are still relatively common today if you go looking for them. The ones that have the Bogard label stapled over them can also be found fairly easily. I think the bags are in the books too. I'll have to pull a few photos off the web hold on...
  21. Sure we know what Heaton cats look like. They are mostly clean structured 4 vanes. For accuracy purposes, they have been dug and located in original factory bags. I also have a few of the original Heaton factory bags that had the Bogard labels stapled on top. Those ones frequently have some very nice ones in them. I think that suggesting that Heaton cats are mixed in with the Bogard cats in the same bag makes it easier for people to dispel the possibility that Bogard actually might have made some simple opaque white based swirls. Would anybodyelse besides me be happy if they found out Bogard did actually make a few swirls?
  22. This blister "looks" like Heatons too, but I think these were made by Bogard. Sure Bogard made a couple of runs of very distinct funky cats with unusual structures, but I also believe they made a bunch of 4 standard 4 vanes that look just like Heatons, but there are some different color combos.
  23. Many of the single color 4 vane Bogard cats are indistinguishable from the Heaton single color ones. I can't tell the difference. Do some people believe Bogard didn't make any of the 4 vane cats they sold? Who believes they have a decent list of known Heaton multi colored cats eyes? Who believes they have a decent list of known Bogard multi colored 4 vane cats? Please share them.
