  1. I picked this showcase up at the rose bowl swap meet last week Empty of course!!!
  2. Ok Vintage handmade marbles Now some contemporary marbles Old pocket and wrist watches Daum cameo glass Old currency Coins Badges And yesterday I bought large a tin wind up toy And I got my eye on trains
  3. Ok I know this guy that sort of is starting to like antique trains. Well if he starts to collect trains will that be ok with his marbles. Will they feel left out? You see he just can't find enough marbles to hold his interest. He likes the really good ones . Anyways is it ok to collect marbles and trains? I think it's kind of a sickness. Maybe he should quit collecting, Slowly Or Cold turkey. No he could never do that. Yes he could no problem. No probably not. Ok who collects trains. Better yet tell us what you collect. ?????
  4. Is it the 26" board with the 32 clams that are 1-9/16" Green base clams with bright orange strips? If so I don't know how you did it I can't get the guy to give me a price. I hope not I wanted that board real bad. If it is well good for you (I guess) Randy Ps sorry I was dreaming about marbles again. No such board out there. Well as far as I know no there's not.
  5. Thanks for posting the pictures I think the four flames look old. I personal never put much value in this type of flame (2 color) Now if they looked like c/a flames that would be a problem but they don't, not to me anyways. The other three pictures would not cause problem for me they don't look old, not even close. Maybe if I saw them in person I would feel different. I say let the jabo machine crank them out. I am a hand made guy anyways. Thank you for the pictures Randy
  6. Can someone post a picture of some of the great jabo's? I would like to see the ones that look so much like the vintage marbles. Thanks Randy
  7. In the comic That blonde must be something special, she has what appears to be a shadow. Nobody else has a shadow? She must not be as transparent as the rest of them. LOL Also they must be playing with carpet balls they are to big for marbles. Now I've seen everything carpet balls by marble king? The court jester dude has MK on his hat. Those look like MK Finally DON'T worry if the price of marbles falls, because then we can get great marbles for less money. I can't wait to buy nice colored sulfides for $75.00 and C/A exotics for $5.00 each. Randy More collectors would join in collecting marbles and scammers might even leave.
  8. Yes but it's been a while. I do plan on coming this July. Thanks for reminding me. Randy
  9. Hi everyone Morphys took the marble back no problem no hassle (lot 1430). No the marble was not polished, it just had minor wear. Let me say that I am VERY picky, maybe too picky. I normally fly to view the lots in person but I did not this time. I am sure I will buy lots more marbles from them in the future. I have been to several marble shows in the last few years, I get a better selection from Morphys. If you want great marbles you have to spend countless hours hunting them down or you can just wait for Morphys, they will have a great selection in there next marble auction. I really like collecting great marbles and most of the marble collectors I meet are great. I don't want to participate in bad mouthing anybody or bad mouthig any auctions. Finally I am really greatfull for the marbles I have bought from Morphys. I bought lots of great marbles including the 3-1/16" swirl, I was there to bid on the 7/8 pink base lutz but was out bid. I now wish I would have bid more. I did get the small pink base lutz though. Randy Conway
  10. I bought only one lot this time, lot 1430. It was something like 4400.00 with shipping. But like I said I sent it back and did receive a full refund.
