  1. Lol, thank you both. It's a nice swirl. I don't have it in hand yet to see amount of av.... But I'll post some pics once I get it!
  2. Good to know. I'm going to buy it then. Thanks for the info!
  3. So I am looking at buying a nice pelt rebel, 21/32" and mint.... But I am unsure of what a reasonable price for this would be?? I've found myself overpaying a lot lately on some of the machine mades.... Which I am still clueless at after a year of switching my focus from handmades... I can id fairly well, I said "fairly" lol, but as far as prices... I are stoopid
  4. Very cool pics! Just curious, what size are the large transparent swirl marbles in the pic? The large ravenswoods seem to stir up quite a bit of commotion!
  5. WOW! That is beautiful! I think I have a new favorite!!!
  6. Did marble king ever really have oxblood? I was pretty sure they just had red or sometimes red that was blended that gave the illusion of another color... Not sure if I would call any of it, that I've seen, oxblood. IMO
  7. How do muddies rank on the peltier scale? Common or hard to find? I haven't really seen too many with this color base. And are they are very desirable pelt.... They are pretty ugly when compared to the NLR's and other more brightly colored pelts.
  8. I found this marble listing on eBay today, and last Friday I purchased a shooter with the exact colors but the ribbons are more predominant on mine... Just being lazy and haven't taken pics yet. Anyways, they have it identified as a mint chocolate but I don't think so... Mine, like this, is a muddy tan base like that on angels with bright teal ribbons. Thoughts? http://www.ebay.com/itm/191035525852?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  9. Those are pretty cool, I always enjoy seeing foreign machine mades!
  10. Hi Philip! They're great! If I can just keep my kids from trying to sneak them off and wear them.... Lol
  11. HAHA! I'll have to agree to that Mike!
  12. I thought these were pretty neat, so I couldn't pass them up! The guy I purchased them from told me they were gumball machine prizes. The machine read "Wear the ring, Play with the Marble". They're not so old, since they are plastic... But still kinda neat.
  13. What about them makes one think they are contemporary? I almost placed a bid on a few of his marbles before, even had him as a favorite seller so I could keep up with his listings... That was before joining this forum and being scared off! LOL So for someone like me, who is unfamiliar with older transitionals, how do you tell the difference?

Not sure.... It's hand faceted. Picked it up at a yard sale last summer.
