I have replaced my plastic tubes with rubber o rings.... it almost looks like the marbles resting direct on the wood

I just found a online shop for rubber rings with reasonable prices!

I made another picture of the illuminated Cabinet I searched for O-Rings but they are incredible expensive -.- Same for those acrylic rings.... they would have a higher worth than the marbles upon them I would have bought that collection if i could afford it.... but i didnt

I finally have my own Display Cabinet so the marbles dont have to be on the window ledge anymore :-) BTW: What do you use as marble stands? I have plastic curtain rings for the big ones and i cut down a plastic tube for the small ones. Those dont look very good i have to find something different....

I dont think it has to be a new one when it doesnt glow. I just thought it could be an evidence for a new marble when it had a strong blue glow (afaik old ones dont glow bright blue). So there are still chances for it to be old. If it is old, congratulations to that one

Did you put it under UV light? I got a marble last month which i believed to be old but its intense blue glow under UV confirmed it is a new one...

I just looked up that ASMR thing... i think that explains this a little to me even if it isnt as intense to me as they describe it. Thank you for this input! Loved the video

Theres one thing about marbles which has not been discussed here much: The sound. I really like the sound of marbles clicking together

Some months ago, i purchased a lot of old clay marbles with some cateyes. Additional to those there was this marble. On the first look on the pictures i thought it was a unconventional old handmade marble but when the package arrived, i saw that it is a new one as it is perfect round. But still, the design seems to be unconventional. Its a little over 1,3" and it seems to be manufactured with different sorts of glass, as the light refracts on different layers, giving that ghost core look. To me, it seems someone tried out marblemaking in general or tried a new design, it just looks a bit experimental... Did anyone see a marble like this yet? Any ideas to the manufacturer?

don't know if this one is rare, but its design is unique to my collection.
