Thanks - No pontil evidence and It came from the States with a few WV swirls (mainly Alley but also a few I'm struggling with (as per usual ). Not saying it couldn't be non-US but my feeling is it probably is...

Champion?

Ravenswood produced a few odd tri-colour transparent swirls and the back lit photo looks a bit Ravenswood, but I'm far from certain.

Have you got a photo in normal light? Might be Champion industrial marbles or play 'clearies'. A lot of their clear glass fluoresces under UV.

Lovely group of St Mary's

Definitely an unusual pair.

Welcome Derek. I'll warn you now that marble collecting is addictive and that you may not be able to resist a collection of your own. I only came here to look at marble runs but somehow got swept up in the madness Regards, Richard

Thanks - should have said, the single is another shooter from the early Gladding Vitro period. If anyone has any black cats from prior to the Washington move I'd be interested in seeing them.

Thanks both. I'd provisionally ruled out St Mary's on the ribbons and the structure looked more Alley than Ravenswood, but I'm struggling with swirls...

Anacortes Cats Eyes (pre-Jabo) - I don't think I've seen black cat eyes from the Parkesburg factory.

Still trying to get to grips with swirls. I'm sure I've seen these green based swirls somewhere... Alley? Factory? Thanks!

Thanks Steph.

Thanks - the bubbles remind me of stars against a cloud nebula

A couple of swirls that came in a lot of unidentified WV swirls. 1" and 5/8" - pretty sure they're the same factory. Thinking St Mary's Alley? Thoughts/corrections/ideas appreciated:

Thanks Steph - swirls still bring me out in a sweat
