  1. Not seeing a pelt antifreeze in the OP IMO LINK :: https://www.peltiermarbles.info/rare
  2. Both are WVS IMO. The purple ones are Champion I believe ??
  3. X2, goin w/ the two on the right Akro patches not helmets, helmets are a Vitro marble : & the big one on the (L) also agree on Master
  4. So called "Paper mache" (made from gutta percha) marbles are light, I've seen marbles like you have before just can't put my finger on it right now ?? They made knife handles and all types of things from gutta percha. 8. Agree, Pelt Rainbo (nice one)
  9. The (seam) you have circled in the Zebra pic is a "cutoff mark" where the shears cut the hot glob during manufacture. The straight line on the bottom middle picture is the other seam where the glob was cut. The Alley in your OP just shows a fold in the glass not a shear mark IMO. I'm not that great at explaining things, maybe @wvrons will see this post and expand on the subject, fer sher better than I can.
  10. Here's a link to some authentic antique paperweights, foreign and others, hopefully this will help a bit ?? I know what a paperweight is and what millefiori is and that's about the extent of it This link has videos, pictures, antique as well as contemporary examples & explanations from the actual artists as to how they were constructed along w/ some for sale. LINK :: https://www.thepaperweightcollection.com/products/extremely-rare-antique-clichy-newel-post-finial-with-complex-concentric-millefiori
  11. Some appear to be pulls but most appear to be Vitro (horseshoe) cats ?
  12. Looks similar to some golf ball racks I display my 1" and better in, nice find Joe
  13. All 6 Vacor Michelangelo's
  14. Looks foreign to me, maybe Vacor ??
  15. I use a single 500k 20w daylight bulb for lighting indoors, I prefer by far natural sunlight. Here's a cheap lighting setup from the AAM forum bought mostly @ your local hardware store or Walmart. Ernesto (MRCOM) takes some of the best mib pix I know of, you won't believe how simple his setup is when you see it "Have Fun Melissa" LINK :: https://www.allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=46681
  16. For a neutral background I use either a dark grey felt or a light grey felt cloth, whatever works best w/ the particular mib & a suitable rubber "O" ring to hold it in place (if needed) There are exceptions where I'll use black or white foam but very rarely, sometimes it takes a number (alot) of retakes w/ different colored backgrounds but eventually I hopefully get there. Ah the wonders of modern digital photography, in other words it's a good thing I'm not relying on film or I'd be picture poor ....
