  1. Here, there & everywhere in between. The same people developed "Stretch Armstrong" .... I guess Inky's, Pea soup etc. are all in the "Muddy" Family !! Oh how things have changed Didn't mean to "muddy" the water !!!
  2. Backlight it, muddies are all semi transparent (translucent) not opaque, one way to tell fer sher.
  3. Yes, a NLR Ruby Bee, every one I've ever had av was sparse except one and the av in it was very very fine but you could see it w/ the naked eye.
  4. Peltier NLR Red Bee :: If there is aventurine in the red ribbons then it's a Ruby bee "Nice MIb" Look in the dark veins of the red ribbons w/ a loupe, the av in a Ruby bee can be quite sparse and fine. Either way it's a Pelt NLR
  5. Champion Old Fashioned IMO, Oops !! forgot the "new" part
  6. Two weeks ago LINK :: https://www.peltiermarbles.info/peltierdragons LINK :: https://www.peltiermarbles.info/peltierbees
  7. Golden dragons have flaming orange in the ribbons while Red Bees have just red ribbons. Ribbons on a Red Bee can be transparent as long as no av, any av content and it's a Ruby bee. Golden dragons have no av. "but" there probably is one w/ it I've just never seen one. Ruby Bee (w/ av in the Red Ribbons) Here is a Red Bee I have, but they can have a bright yellow base and look exactly like a Ruby Bee the only difference being no av content in the red ribbons, There are exceptions as in every marble, here there and everywhere in between.
  8. When I think of all the monarchs I seen as a kid, it just doesn't seem possible but I'm trying to remember if I even seen one last year ?? The "milkweed" their natural food used to grow like crazy in the ditches, now all gone from spraying & development, have at er Chris "Good Job"

  10. "Welcome to Marble Connection Tami" Great friends, good times and years worth of accumulated marble and marble related information ahead. Again, "Welcome" This ones in the " Pelt fruit cocktail" family, as long as there's a little white in there ??I think it's called a "Fruit Salad" need a couple more views to give a more precise ID, if so a very HTF mib. 16. I listen to a lot of supertramp, a very wide variety of music, all from different stages of my life. Supertramp was every day @ one time, their most memorable album for me is "Breakfast in America" :: song "Long way Home"
  17. I always thought the Beningtons had spots from the kiln stand ? over 30 years of asking the wrong person, maybe they are "Touch marks" ?? I know I have some others where you can see the material imprint from the asbestos sheet or whatever & no touchmarks. Thanks Ric, always learning This pic has 3 Beningtons, 2 glazed clays and a glazed jasper, I think ?? Going to delete my inferior information, Thanks Again Ric
  18. One of my favorite Acrylic Wall hanger displays for this "Sundays Best"
  19. Hang on I'll see if it says anything in the book ?? Doesn't say on the 100 count, the only ones w/ sizes posted are the smaller boxes w/ varying sizes : i.e. 9/16ths - 3/4 and so forth. Boy there are a lot of different count boxes w/ a row of white slags, you'd think they'd be more common, of course these are collectors boxes I guess !!
  20. Me to, I didn't notice it was missing the ever conspicuous three marks from the tripod they sit on in the kiln, good eye Ric
