    Mica?

Yes definitely a mica, German handmade amber mica, nice marble Sherri, good job on spotting the mica for the I.D.
  2. " Happy Birthday Bill" .....
  3. Guess we're the last in the States to get any type of heatwave. I know 100 doesn't sound hot to most of you but to me it's boiling. Already have my AC on to get the house cooled down for @ least a couple days, so hopefully after a week of this we'll come out of it Until then I guess it's time to sweat the load ?? Really hot in the rest of the country already, stay cool my Friends
  4. A German handmade caged single ribbon core for this "Sundays Best" These pictures were taken of my marbles by my Friend Terry for the auction I had in 09.
  5. Not a Vitro tomato IMO, just because of the transparent clear and lack of any yellow streaks showing in your pix Sherri. Here's a link on them. I'm not sure what you have ?? LINK : https://marbleconnection.com/topic/26420-vitro-tomato-🤔/
  6. Peltier Rainbo Sunset type IMO
  7. Not a bifurcate IMO, a bifurcate is 2 different "colored" base glasses, I know, confusing. I'll post a pelt for example. I don't think yours is Brad ? The base on this one is half yellow and half green a (dragon Bee) The one I pictured above is just a weird Vitro similar in color to a pelt. 8. "Welcome to Marble Connection Ace" The middle two are Peltier Rainbos, the 4th and last looks like a Vitro but not positive ?? Number one has me stumped, looks like some form of West Virginia swirl ? Lots of good people here along w/ many years of marble and marble related knowledge more than willing to share what they know and help you on your marble journey. There is also a search bar in the upper R hand corner should you have any specific query.
  9. Three pee-wee Pelts for this "Slags & Swirls Saturday" a Wolverine, a Mustard & Relish, AKA (Sunflower) and a transparent Christmas tree. The Mustard & Relish is way below the .50" pee-wee mark as well as the other two.
  10. Sorry for posting the first pic, at the time it was the only pic I had, the base color and oxblood on the marble in the second pic is accurate. The first pic looks like the one I had years ago but whoever took the picture really screwed up when they used a flash, please disregard the first pic. Well since I bungled this a bit I'll just give the answer. It's an MFC Persian Oxblood, here are a couple links on the subject. Whoever used the flash in the first pic ruined a picture of a really nice rare marble, but I still recognized it as being one. 11. Nice setup William, just what I needed this mornin ....
  12. All 3 look like regular Peltier Rainbos IMO
  13. Not sure about the first on, #2 is a pelt rainbo. #3 looks like an Akro cork. #4 looks to be a Master
  14. Nice mib Bill ... ... Looks like a big un ??
  15. I haven't seen one of these in 15 years or more, I know what it is (or @ least what it used to be called) & used to have one. I'll give 2 clues, it's was made by MFC & has oxblood on it. Sorry for the picture quality but this is the only one I could find, and believe me it wasn't easy finding this one. Looks like a flash was used in this pic throwing the actual base & oxblood colors off ?? Here's another more recent photo of one, not mass produced and thought to be a mistake, but there are still a few around, I rue the day I let mine go !! Forgive the color being off from the first pic, it's old, the base color in the second one is closer to actual. Clue #2, The base color is half of the name.

    ... ... Foreign to me Brother ??
  17. Mineral (Tigers eye) Nice mib Brother ... LINK : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger's_eye
  18. "Welcome to Marble Connection Jeff" A PPP (Peltier Peerless Patch) is a patch. The one pictured appears to have ribbons so is a Superboy. Here are some pix of all 3. Any orange in the red ribbons disqualifies it as a Spiderman and makes it a Superboy. No such thing as a Superboy patch, all Peltier patches are Peerless Patches no matter what the color of the patch. Here's a couple of links I hope are helpful for ya Jeff : LINK : https://www.allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=46816&p=370235&hilit=Peerless+Patches#p370235 LINK : https://www.peltiermarbles.info/
  19. Gamer IMO, I can't tell the manufacturer though Dave
  20. Nothing on the bottom but I'm sure it's Akro. I scored it 3 or 4 years ago if memory serves me right, I remember someone @ the Seattle marble show having hundreds of pieces of Akroware including a few like this one in 2017. The dart type pattern is common to several pieces Akro made. I know you have a few pieces w/ it on them ??
  21. I still see transparent clear running through opaque red, very evident in the first pic. Never seen a slag like this. The red is supposed to be transparent in a slag with white swirling through it, not a slag IMO
