I knew Steph beat me to the punch, just found an outstanding link about marble names and "old terminology" she posted LINK : https://marbleconnection.com/topic/19377-marble-vocabulary-from-the-past-from-other-countries/ Another favorite "Bamboozler" Well it doesn't say "Bamboozler" but I think I get the idea !!

Nice mib Alan !!

I got this in remembrance of my Baby Brother Tony that passed in 2014. He had tattoos of scorpions on both forearms, one black & one red. @ a little over 4" a big sphere, of course it's polymer otherwise the scorpion would incinerate (I think ??) The scorpion is UV. as Rick would say "It pops"

Can be more than one word, a "personal choice" many may like "boulder' "masher" etc .... but I'm glad to hear you have the same fav as me !! I have to admit several I have never heard before, maybe by the time all is said and done I'll have a new favorite ?? Just posted as a learning tool, I already learned a few new marble words myself just googling it.
-
What's your favorite marble "WORD" (i.e. certain game, marble name, players, company etc ....) ?? I'll start it off with my personal favorite "TAW" I've listed a few from Google but know it will be added to. Any word (or combination of words) "marble related" A definition for your favorite word would be great !! Foreign Words or Names also count since we are lucky enough to have such a diverse international bunch, "Have at er matey's"
