  1. "Happy Thüringen Thursday" Another "Joseph Coat" you can see one of the windows into the interior in the second picture. I'll take some new pix later, these were taken by the person I got the mib from, my friend Terry. A couple pix showing both the unfinished pontils. The two unfinished Pontils and bright colors both help point to a later Victorian era production date, somewhere between 1870 & 1910.
  2. I vote Imperial also, I seen a small candy dish at a shop I visit frequently but the one there is marked with one of the 1951 Imperial hallmark. Might be a repro, but I also know some pieces weren't stamped just like a few other companies, here's a pic of the stamp on the piece I've seen. Either way a beautiful piece of glass !! Some other Imperial stamps, I've posted this before but can't remember where ??
  3. "Nice mib Rick " I have never seen one in hand, the Pelt site says they're VHTF, the ones I have seen on Feebay did get a bit spendy if in wet mint shape !! LINK : https://www.peltiermarbles.info/unique-examples

    ID Please

Akro auger corkscrew The pelts look like Rainbos, nice ones though !! Not positive about this one ??
  5. "Happy West Virginia Wednesday" Three different views & lighting set ups for the same marble. First indoors, second in normal Daylight and third backlit. I know it kinda resembles a pull but the pitting and chunks of excess oven brick give the glass a very close resemblance to that of an Alley Green Giant minus the av give it an Alley swirl I.D. I posted it for positive I.D. and the unanimous decision came back Alley as well. Oops !! almost forgot, comes in at just barely over 7/8ths of an inch.
  6. I'm sure glad they had this one written out for me, a pic "and" explanation of a Peltier Windshield from the Peltier info site. LINK : https://marbleconnection.com/topic/28188-peltier-winsheild/ LINK : https://www.peltiermarbles.info/unique-examples

  10. "Welcome to Marble Connection Mike" Looks like lots of newer w, some maybe older ones in there. Close ups and multiple views will give a more accurate I.D. Condition is always # 1 Probably 3 marbles per shot w, the multiple views of each, might be a little slower but way more accurate. Size is also a great help, in fractions if you can, if not decimals are ok !! Lots of Great people here more than willing to share what they know. Years of accumulated marble and marble related knowledge here. Have Fun Mike, looking forward to the new pix & some positive I.D.
