No Akro, no Popeye, I see Vitro ??

There's a word for that anomaly I think it's called marvering ?? Ah !! found it, I knew I had been here before, I believe Alan & Mike were the ones who explained it to me?? LINK : https://marbleconnection.com/topic/26087-ghost-core-or-bubble-core/

Uh oh, the beginners luck theory, expert=3 suckers, everyone else= keepers. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything ?? A good time for all and a lot of smiles anyway, that's all that counts Brother !! "but" Regardless thanks for posting William !!

Looks like I found some more "Czech Bullet Mold Beads" like Joep has on Ebay today, they just listed them, here's the link and a pic, UK seller, I know who it is but can't remember his name right now ?? LINK : https://www.ebay.com/itm/224633756051?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5338722076&toolid=10001

Yes !! I believe so, as far as I know Germany exported trade beads to the US & Africa and probably a couple other places as well, another good point for discussion, along w/ the Bulgarian mibs & Czech Bullet Molds !!

Last one, # 3 is a coreless swirl w/ a ghost core. You had the "Ghostly" part right !! 👻

Killer sets Dave, lots of same cane, I can see where you would consider these for the most part as original to the boards, I would as well. I had a really nice set of between 23 & 25/32nds banded solid cores w/ the box I foolishly sold, I believe the least in one cane I had was 3 and the most was 8. $1200.oo then, now I shudder to think. Every time I look at the pix I disgust myself.

Oop !! I meant to say #4 and #5, not 3 and 4 my bad, sorry bout that one. Yes 4 is German S.O. & 5 is Vacor, right I.D.'s wrong #'s on the marbles !! The entire world has Asian & Vacor, Vacor produces over 12 million per day & in business since 1934. Then there's China, making them by the ton not by the millions, trying to overtake Vacor as the leading distributor of glass marbles worldwide copying many of Vacors patterns adding to all the confusion. Marble King is holding on but because of the competition I fear not for long, sadly the last marble manufacturer in the US.

Just me but I've seen these before, they look like MK or Vitro but something just a little off. There had to be more than just Vitro and MK show up overseas. The fact that there are some marbles that have traits from both MK and or Vitro on the same mib make me a bit apprehensive !! I believe they're all foreign ?? Other marbles from different people in the same area have some of the same dual identity thing going on. Everyone was confused for a couple weeks and still the differing I.D.'s continue. Just saying when I have doubts there's usually a reason. Maybe you got a few in trade that are American no doubt. The #3 is a foreign S.O. & last one looks like Vacor, the only two I.D.'s I have confidence in

I think I might have some stripeys and other cats from your side of the pond on the way, looks like time to take some new pix finally ?? I just bought some grey and other neutral colored felt mats yesterday so I'm ready and waiting !! "I think " ??
-
They certainly look "same run" whatever they are, probably came off the rollers close to one another and been together ever since ??
-
I can't I.D. them, foreign to me, not MK or Vitro, traits of both w/ a few Akro looking seams thrown in for good measure

Slim pickins is better than no pickins, nice bonuses Brother !! -
They look vacor to me, the colors are really off and the structure isn't quite right for Jabo. They do have a "butcrack" looking fold, but ?? I wouldn't be surprised if someday you stumble onto some Jabo, they certainly made enough to have them show up just about anywhere !!

No idea on the maker for this one ?? I thought "Atmospheres" were all at or near an inch, don't believe I've ever seen a 5/8ths one ??
-
I knew the little green dude had a stash !!
-
You must have a "Killer" toy collection too Gladys ?? Yoda looks like he should be holding a mib !!

"Happy Akro Friday" More Akroware, a two handled unmarked basket I don't believe any of the authentic Akroware baskets like this are marked w/ either the Akro logo or a number. I just seen few repros last week, all of them made of one or two color transparent glass, but each a perfect replica and unmarked like this one. This one's two handled, they also made a one handled version. VHTF a one handled w/ an unbroken or intact handle. All I've ever found have been broken and or missing pieces of the glass handle.
