  1. They all look like Asian made Imperials from the views in your pix !!
  2. You're on a run, better bust em out before winter sets in .... Oop !! to late Hey !! I just noticed, you live in Sparks !! I have a couple Native American friends that live in sparks, obviously sunny there right now, the sun here is blotted out by smoke from all the forest fires at the moment. I'm kinda enjoying the lower temps myself, been a "long Hot" (record breaker) summer so far here !! I enjoyed the 4 separate seasons as a kid, not one long hot one.
  3. Ah !! now I see the nub w/ a hole in it in what appears to be the back, never even noticed till you said something Art !! It does look alot like a button thread hole ??
  4. Never seen anything like it !! Cool !!
  5. Yeah baby, the "who's who" of slag glass, so nice to have the tags still intact, killer score William !!
  6. Heaton did make some incidental Metalics. The one in this picture has Heatons version of oxblood. They often called horsehair, I have several like it, I know it's Heaton because of the ear shape you caught perfectly in your pic, I'll post a pic of a few I have also. These are all green based glass w/ whitish colored swirls in them, I have some w/ red base & blue as well. Search "named Heaton types" & you'll see Chucks post on the named Heaton thus far and also pics of the many unnamed, many containing "Ox hair" and or oxblood, the color of it varies greatly in the dug examples, have fun wading through all the pics. Hang on I'll post the links for you !! LINK : https://marbleconnection.com/topic/26001-named-heaton-types/ Yours LINK :https://marbleconnection.com/topic/26187-dug-heaton-mib-pics/ There are many. many killer examples of Heatons similar to yours in this next link, many one of a kind examples. Enjoy Chris & I hope this clears it up just a little for ya, I'm still astounded at the shear number of different marbles they produced. 7. A couple Heaton in there for sure, Alley, Vitro, nice mix Chris Heaton
  8. I looked at all my white based corks with the yellow corking strand & they each had some amount of clear in the white base, most so little you can't see it unless you backlight the mib and roll it around. Drat !! Foiled again, I thought for sure I had this one in the bag "NOT"

Almost every manufacturer either started making or made game marbles at some point, I wasn't wise to it either until I got into a discussion with Ron or Chuck G., I can't remember who ?? But it was a surprise to me as well. Makes sense, gaming was at some point very popular so be it the marble companies followed suit. Ah now I remember, the discussion was over this very marble, still can't remember with who though ?? maybe both ?? oldtimers kickin in.

A so named Alley "monochrome" gaming marble with the unmistakable Alley flame like construction (9/16ths I believe ??) a very bright light and careful scrutiny pays sometimes !! I also found a few Flinties and 3 Akro Bricks looking through half a 5 gallon bucket of someone else's throwaways. I filled up many of my Aunts and Uncles Chinese checkers & Aggravation game boards, so passing on the joy of marbles !! I kept them all in case someone else needed any replacements (including yours truly) I always give everything a 2nd, 3rd or 4th look & then still save it for at least a little while.
  15. Ah well, at least I wasn't the only no show, sometimes it seems life just gets in the way, especially when I make plans !!
  16. Hope this helps Chris !! Vacor is made in Mexico and distributed world wide under a few different distributor names. At over 12,000,000 (twelve million) marbles a day. LINK : https://www.billes-en-tete.com/liste_billes.php?lang=en LINK : https://www.billes-en-tete.com/detail.php?id=217
  17. Wish I could have made it to the show this year Brad, I have high hopes for next year !! Nice mibs Brother.
  18. I don't believe it has an actual core, it appears to be dark purple jelly ribbons making it appear so. Jelly ribbons are uncommon a solid jelly core is very uncommon. Jelly i.e. able to see through it, as looking through jello.
  19. I brought backup this time !! Where's the rest of me mibs ?????
  20. It took a "mega" while to find ones this clean, I'm still lookin !!
