Original Ravenswood Catalogues?
Chad G. replied to PittsburghMarbles's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I seen them to, judging by the amount of them circulating all at once and the ease of which they could be reprinted I'd be wary myself !! They look legit but ?? -
Abominable was killer, a horror type movie but it did have it's funny parts too, there are Bigfoot freaks here, they live eat and breath Bigfoot. Multiple Bigfoot stores, lots of that Mt. St. Helens ashware is sold there also. There used to be a place called "Ape Canyon" famous for a 1924 bigfoot attack on some prospectors. LINK : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ape_Canyon

More Squatchin !! Got a print the other day separate from the frame, so instead of $32.oo got it for 4 bucks & already had my own frame. A good wall hanger, Bigfoot's kind of a big deal around here so when I see something cool I try and get my hands on it, usually obscure but that's the way I like it.

I'd definitely try to talk em down a little bit, I think they wanted $80.00 bucks for the bear I bought so I was able to talk em down $15 anyway !! I just measured the bear again, a touch over 1 & 13/16ths, I probably put near 2" in my orig. post for being in a hurry ?? I'm trying to find the pic for condition reasons ?? Ah, found it. The only fleabite on it is visible in the pic right on it's behind, the rest that appears as ware is oil & fingerprints from my hands, yes I know another retake. Completely intact pontil w/ visible marks from the shaping tool where the marble was rounded.

Ouch !! More than a touch high for the shape it's in, it doesn't appear to have hits but very heavy pocket ware, it is a real handmade Sulphide, I recognize it as a cat, Oh, duh !! I just seen the tag "cat" Maybe because I'm picky but I wouldn't pay but maybe half that & I like Sulphides. Above 2" and below 1" are what I look for as far as sizes, the rarer figures are next. Good to see a few in the wild though. I just bought that bear two weeks ago, one flea w/ a shiny surface I believe right at 2" $65.oo

We only get 6 days per year and a limit of 4 fish a year. Thanks to the sealions eating all the big brooders for the last 15-20 years, when I was a kid it was 3 a day 36" to 6' now a measly size slot of 45" to 52" so a 7 inch parameter, I've never been so tempted to keep a fish in my life, best eating besides the spring Chinook you'll ever have, just like deep fried halibut. I'll give it my best shot William, sure wish it was like the old days, I could show you pics of multiples within a couple hours !! The world we live in now is really somethin else, but I'm making the best of what we have. "I hope to see a Sturgeon as well" Go get em Brother, slay one for me !! A pic of my baby Brother from years ago when the keeper size was 6 feet, this one was 6' right on the nose I know I've posted these before but they bring back some of the best memories of my life !! Me with my first Salmon at age 5, got honorable mention, nowadays this fish is a monster

Best book on cat eyes I've ever seen, in depth US & foreign I.D.'s along with most of the packaging and some great pictures, I highly recommend Elizabeth's book, you can call her and order directly from he or just order off ebay, an ebay order link and a letter directly posted on AAM from her about her book. Alot of info packed into a small package. LINK : https://www.ebay.com/itm/233730858682?hash=item366b71deba:g:ooMAAOSwsnpewdMO LINK : https://allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=47337 I can't find her phone number right now but will post it here for you tomorrow. It'll save ya a couple bucks on shipping, I had mine sent media mail so it had less of a chance of being mangled, it showed up in perfect factory condition.

Hopefully I will have something soon ?? Ah wait, a picture of a friend of mine landing a steelhead last month, I'm the one on the left without a pole. We have to use barbless hooks so it's always good to have a second on the beach just in case the fish throws the hook when it's head hits the beach. The Columbia river behind me, it's about a mile and a half across right there where we Steelhead fish. Right now their fishing deep on the bottom with wobblers for fall Salmon, you have to have a boat, average depth is 45' and the fish are at the lowest point to take advantage of the cooler water. Looks like the years are finally startin to show on me !! We sturgeon fish off the cliffs on the other side, there's a hole 110' deep by that sheer rock face behind me across the river.

They re "Vacor" but I don't think they're called confetti's, the name is on the tip of my tongue Arrr!! Here's a ;pic if some I.D as confetti marbles from the Vacor I.D. site, many others are very close to what you have, it may be a mixture of 2 or 3 types since you have transparent & opaque bases ?? I hope this link works for you & helps a bit ?? LINK : https://www.billes-en-tete.com/liste_billes.php?lang=en
