  1. These are contemporary torch work glass marbles, probably made in China, very common, value almost "0" These are "Gutta Percha" handmade antique "Paper Mache" VHTF i.e. valuable $$ \Once you hold them in hand & see them in person you'll never mistake them again, good post !!
  2. Correct, Machine mades don't have pontils handmades do.
  3. Alley Alley or maybe Heaton, not positive from pix ?? Not sure ??
  4. A couple more friends watching over the mib treasure Arrgh !! I think he got ahold of some Kryptonite & it melted his face, still a loyal guardian of the booty !!!
  5. I know I've posted these before but I like the collage, thought you might also
  6. Oop !! My bad, you're right, "Thanks Steph" I believe we've been through this before. Old habit's do indeed die hard.
  7. I'll make it a point to try & remember one of them, I have so many they get mixed together. Guess they're supposed to mean something ??
  8. Agreed, no need to be sorry, those "old posts" need a good "bump" every once in a while to maybe stimulate new & further discussion, post away !!! I've been reading them, as I'm sure others have also, some I've never read before. There's years of stuff here to navigate, that's what it's here for, glad to see someone diggin around a bit, I know I do
  9. Yes I see 3 "I" believe are Akro patches, do you have a blacklight ?? A few of them look to have a "Lemonade" base & may be U.V. reactive ?? Moss agates have an "Ace" base, non uv. reactive
  10. #1. Sorry, not a Blue Raven or even a Ravenswood. #2. "Yes" Jabo made several Pee - Wee marbles .50" or less LINK : https://www.allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?p=339360#p339360
  11. All 4 Akro "Prizename" corkscrews, certain color combinations do have collector names. I don't believe these have one however !! Hard to tell on the first two just from the pix you have ??
  12. Agree, all 3 are "Akro prizename corkscrews" " Not Popeyes". Popeye = Transparent clear base with whispy white strands running through it & two other opaque colors. There are however always exceptions i.e. Hybrids with more than 2 opaque colors. The two main qualifiers are the "Clear transparent base & whispy white strands" I do see the stranding you are speakin of in the first of the three. I believe all three of yours to be "Prizename" corks. Popeyes are considered "Specials" Info compliments of the (MSCA) Marble Collectors Society of America LINK : https://www.marblecollecting.com/marble-reference/online-marble-id-guide/akro-agate-co/ AKRO POPEYE I.D. ( Popeyes are corkscrews) AKRO CORKSCREW I.D. A few examples of some Akro Popeyes, hope this helps you out !!
